They are all registered with Ofsted and provide a secure environment with a focus on fun activities. You can book half days, full days or full weeks. The following pages have been compiled jointly by Wirral s Extended Services and Families Information Service (FIS). They contain information about days out, libraries and rangers events, a huge range of activities, play schemes and childcare. Activities start on Monday 20th July and go right through to Friday 30th August. Activities and courses range from a couple of hours to a whole week. Some have to be booked in advance and others are open to all to turn up on the day; most are free, some have to be paid for. Supervision levels also vary, so make sure you find out full details from the organisers while you are planning your summer of fun! The activities are being provided by the Council, the Extended Services Clusters, partner organisations, independent companies and voluntary groups. While every effort has been made to discover and include as many summer opportunities as possible, this list is not exhaustive.
