We are a unique country retreat venue in the heart of Johannesburg. We offer a warm, friendly and tranquil environment for your hostess parties and family function. Our specialty however, is themed children s birthday parties. We are also an excellent venue to host kitchen teas or stork parties.

2 PARTY TIMES AND PRICES: Saturday and Sunday: Morning 9:00 am 12:00pm Afternoon 13:00pm 16:00pm Price for morning slot: (9:00am - 12:00pm) Basic hiring fee R2000 Basic hiring fee & jumping castle R2500 Basic Hiring fee & Pony rides (for 1 hour) R2800 Basic Hiring fee, Jumping Castle & Pony rides R3300 Price for afternoon slot: (13:00pm - 16:00pm) Basic Hiring fee R2200 Basic hiring fee & jumping castle R2700 Basic Hiring fee & Pony rides (for 1 hour) R3000 Basic Hiring fee, Jumping Castle & Pony rides R3500 SET UP TIMES AND PACK UP TIMES: You may arrive half an hour before and half an hour after the event to set up and pack up, please note that once the half an hour is up a penalty of R 500 will be charged for every half an hour after the provided time. NUMBER OF ADULTS AND KIDS: The basic hiring fee includes 50 guests for every guest above the 50 will be charged R25 per person, we recommend no more than 100 heads. This needs to be settled prior to the event; else the security guard will not allow the additional guests into the venue. It is important to note that the items provided in the hiring fee will only accommodate for the 50 guests. (Within reason) A full guest list needs to be provided to us 2 days before the event. PLEASE NOTE: an additional helper and guard are obligatory if there are more than 50 guests and this is at a cost of R250 per staff member. THE BASIC HIRING FEE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: Facilities for children: sandpit; race track with bikes; regular jungle gyms with swings, soft play and ball pond area. Facilities and Furniture: An undercover deck with plastic tables and chairs for 25 adults, food display area, 2 fully maintained bathrooms, outdoor bench and table sets, under cover area with kids tables and chairs. crockery and cutlery: 1 Hot water urn, 1 milk urn, 1 Water urn, 1 kids oros urn, microwave, 25 Cups and saucers, 25 mini water glasses, 25 cake forks and teaspoons, 1 cake server, 1 cutting board, 1 bread knife, 2 pairing knives, 2 serving spoons, 2 serving dishes, 1 Dish cloth, 1 sponge and dishwashing liquid. Refreshments: Milk, sugar, tea, coffee, water and OROS. Tubs: a large tub for cold drinks (No ice is provided) and a chest for gifts Staff: One assistant to assist in set up and clean-up and a Security Guard for guest list entrance and assistance in parking of vehicles. Kids Décor: if one of our themes is chosen, you will receive a plastic table cloth in the color of your choice with the themed plates, cups, runner and a banner.

Please note: All cutlery and crockery have to be hired from us. KIDS ADDITIONAL DECOR: We can provide you with full themed décor for your theme choice, this includes: themed plastic table cloth, themed paper plates and cups, themed tooter s or hat s and a personalised themed banner with a picture of your child. The cost of which is R1200 for a minimum of 24 kids. Should you wish to exclude the personalised banner then the cost of the package is R800, for a minimum of 24 kids.

7 PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the basic hiring fee is required with the signed booking form within 3 days of the provisional booking, in order to secure the date. A refundable deposit of R1000 is required along with final payment 7 working days prior to the event. This refundable deposit will be returned to you in cash on the day of the event if no damages, levies or penalties are experienced. If penalties, levies or damages occur for more than the refundable deposit amount. The balance will need to be paid in cash on the day, as we do not have credit card facilities If it is necessary for your event to be cancelled no deposits will be returned, if cancelled 1 week before the event. If one would like an additional hour and there is no after party booked then a fee of R1000 will be charged. Please note however that no additional hour will be granted on a Sunday. Under the Oak Tree does not host the party, it is the responsibility of the parent to do so. Right of Admission is reserved. We will not under any circumstances be held responsible for power failures and weather conditions. Rules at Under The Oak Tree Adult supervision of children is necessary at all times during the rental period of the party. Should any child come to any harm because of the negligence of the adult, Under The Oak Tree shall not be held responsible. It is the responsibility of the adults to see that the children do not vandalize the property and equipment. The host parent will be charged breakage fee for any damages. Feeding of the animals is strictly prohibited unless under staff supervision of our venue. Disclaimer: Children and adults enter the premises of Under The Oak Tree at their own risk, and it is the responsibility of the parents to look after their children. It is the responsibility of the parents to warn children to use the play equipment responsibly. When using the swimming pool, the renter must ensure that there is a responsible qualified strong swimmer, supervising the children at all times. Under the Oak Tree, it s owners or employees, shall have no liability whatsoever for any loss of, or damage to any property or any person, nor for any personal injury or death of any person whatsoever, howsoever any loss, damage, injury or death may arise, including that arising as a result of any negligence, gross negligence or act of omission of Under The Oak Tree, or its servants, employees, or any other person duly authorized to act for or on behalf of Under The Oak Tree.
