1 INTERNET GET TO KNOW THE BEST CONNECTION CONNECTING TO WIFI AT HOME With TWC WiFi, the whole family can be online at the same time, from almost anywhere in your home. TO SET UP YOUR TWC HOME WIFI If you subscribe to our Home WiFi service, you can connect all your WiFi enabled devices at the same time, anywhere in your home. A Time Warner Cable Wireless Gateway broadcasts a network name for your wireless devices to connect to, so there s no need for a separate router. To protect your home WiFi network from unauthorized access, we recommend updating the default manufacturer settings of your wireless gateway to rename your SSID and create a password for access to your home WiFi. Check out our how-to video at twc.com/howto. TO CONNECT MOST DEVICES TO TWC WIFI 1. Make sure the WiFi connection on your device is turned on 2. Click on NETWORK CONNECTIONS 3. Select your new chosen network name (SSID) 4. Enter your network password. If you have not created your own, try the default passcode on the back of the modem TO MANAGE YOUR HOME WIFI If you need to change any of your WiFi settings, such as the name of your Home WiFi network or password, please go to twc.com/support. You will also need the Wireless Gateway passcode created during installation. DID YOU KNOW? Access free WiFi at over 300,000 locations across the country and over 2,000 throughout the state - and we re adding more every day. TO LOCATE HOTSPOTS To find hotspots in your area and nationwide, check out the TWC WiFi Coverage Map at twc.com/wificoverage or download the FREE TWC WiFi Finder app. GET LOGIN CREDENTIALS To access TWC WiFi, you ll need your TWC ID and password. Once you sign in, you ll be automatically connected when in range of TWC WiFi. Download the FREE TWC WiFi Finder app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store or at twc.com/apps to easily locate and connect to hotspots. Please be sure to write down your TWC ID and password now and keep it with you so you can access the Internet when you re away from home. Compatible with Apple iphone, ipod touch, ipad and Android smartphones and tablets. TWC WiFi is available to customers with Time Warner Cable Internet except those on Basic and Everyday Low Price service tiers. 3 INTERNET TWC WIFI TO CONNECT TO TWC WIFI HOTSPOTS 1. When within range, select the TWCWiFi network name. 2. Open your browser. 3. Follow sign-in prompts. If you are outside the Time Warner Cable service area, you can still connect on partner hotspots by selecting the CableWiFi network name and using your TWC ID. To locate nationwide hotspots, check out our coverage on twc.com/wificoverage or download the free TWC WiFi Finder app. OUR MOST SECURE WIFI NETWORK IS HERE The TWCWiFi-Passpoint network provides the same security as your in-home WiFi network, allowing you to send sensitive data when you re away from home. Like all TWC WiFi Hotspots, it s free to customers with Standard Internet and above. Look for it at most TWCWiFi locations. PRE-REGISTER YOUR DEVICES FOR EVEN FASTER CONNECTIVITY Just sign in to twc.com/mywifi with your TWC ID and register all your devices. Then they ll automatically connect to the TWC WiFi network any time you re in range. Plus, check back often to view your data consumption by device, and estimate your cost savings on your cellular plan based on your TWC WiFi usage. 22

4 INTERNET USING OCEANIC TIME WARNER CABLE Enjoy convenient features such as an online address book, message sorting and tons of storage space. TO SETUP YOUR ACCOUNT You will first need the pre-assigned Master address and password. 1. Find instructions to Create New Sub User at twcc.com. 2. Click the Support link. 3. Click Internet >. 4. In the TWC Mail section, click on: Our step-by-step instructions. 5. Go to the Manage TWC Mail section. 6. Click Create a new sub user. 5 INTERNET TO ACCESS YOUR REMOTELY 1. Go to mail.twc.com. 2. Enter your address and password and select LOG IN. TO SET UP ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTS 1. Go to selfcare.twcc.com and click on the SELF CARE button on the navigation bar. 2. Sign in with your primary account and password. This is the address you created during Registration. 3. Select USER MANAGEMENT, then click on CREATE A NEW SUB USER and follow the instructions on the next page. 24

6 INTERNET TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD 1. Visit pt.rr.com. 2. If you do not know your password, select I don t know my password and follow the prompts. 3. Otherwise, select I know my password and I want to change it. 4. Follow the prompts and then log in. POP ACCOUNT SETTINGS Account Type: POP or POP3 Incoming Mail Server: mail.twc.com Incoming Server POP3 port: 110 Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.twc.com Outgoing Server SMTP port: 587 Inbound & Outbound User Name: Enter full address. For example: johndoe@hawaii.rr.com johndoe@twc.com Inbound & Outbound Password: Password (same as Web Mail) SMTP Server Requires Authentication: Checked 25
