Click Select to begin. a Medical Dental (if offered) Click Edit next to Medical Click Edit next to Dental b Choose your plan and vendor (Region will default to your area) Checkmark dependents to cover Click Continue Agree to the Partnership Promise (if applicable) Click OK to store your choices Choose your plan Checkmark dependents to cover Click Continue Click OK to store your choices c To complete your enrollment, click both Submit buttons, and then click OK. To print a copy for your records, click the View button. You will also be ed a confirmation.

4 The easiest way to get to the Edison website is to first go to the main website for the state of Tennessee: Page 4
5 Move your mouse over the word Government at the top right and a menu should appear. Page 5
6 From that menu, click the word Edison in the second column. Page 6
7 Page 7 Click the link at the top of this page to be taken to the Edison login screen. You can also access Edison by entering the following website address directly into the text box at the top of Internet Explorer:
8 This is the login page for Edison. Enter your assigned username and password. For UT, TBR and Local Education employees, your username will be a series of numbers. Page 8
9 Click the Sign in button. Page 9
10 If this is your first time logging in to Edison, you will be taken to the Acceptable Use Policy. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to continue. Page 10 Scroll Down
11 Before reentering your assigned password, click the checkbox to agree to comply with the policy. Page 11
12 Reenter your assigned password. Page 12
13 Click the Sign In button. Page 13
14 You will now need to change your assigned password to a new password of your choosing. Click the Click here to change your password link. Page 14
15 Read the paragraph at the top to see what characters to use in your new password. Page 15
16 Reenter your assigned password in the first text box. Page 16
17 Enter a new password of your choosing in the second and third text boxes. Page 17
18 Click the Change Password button to save your new password. Page 18
19 You will then see confirmation that your password has been changed. Click the OK button to return to the Edison login screen. The notice says to wait 5 minutes, but you can usually try logging in after less than a minute. Page 19

22 Page 22 You should now be at the first page in Edison. Your screen may look a little different than this one. The first thing you will need to do is add your address and phone number to Edison.

24 Edison will send confirmation of your benefits choices to the address on file. To add your address to Edison, click the last link in the Enterprise Menu on the left that says My System Profile. Page 24
25 Scroll down to the bottom and checkmark the box that says Primary Account. Page 25
26 Change the Type to Home or Business depending upon which one you want to use. Page 26

29 Your address has now been saved. Next, click the link at the top left that says Employee Self Service. Page 29

31 Click the Phone Numbers link to add your phone number to Edison. The coordinator of the state s wellness program will use the phone number on record for wellness and disease management outreach. Page 31

35 Checkmark the Preferred box (required). Page 35

40 To begin making your benefits selections for 2011, click the Employee Self Service link at the top left in Edison. Page 40

43 This is the ESS welcome screen. To see all the areas where you can change your benefits, click the Select button. Page 43
44 Page 44 This page will show different options depending upon the agency you work for. Click the Edit button next to Medical to choose your health coverage for 2011.
45 Page 45 Scroll down to see all your medical options. You will only see options in the regions where you live or work. Scroll Down
46 Page 46 Click the circle to the left of the medical plan and vendor that you wish to use in The Coverage Level (Single, Family, Employee plus Spouse, Employee + Child(ren)) will change automatically based upon the dependents you choose to cover in the next step.
47 Checkmark the box to the left of any dependent you wish to include on this coverage. Page 47
48 Click the Continue button. Page 48
49 If you have chosen the Partnership PPO option on the previous screen then you will be taken to the Partnership Promise. Make sure to read the entire promise and then click OK if you agree (or Cancel to choose another plan). If you have not chosen the Partnership PPO, you will skip this screen. Page 49
50 You will then see a review page for you to confirm your selections. Click OK to continue. Page 50
51 Page 51 Depending upon whether your agency offers Dental coverage directly through the State plan, you may or may not see the Dental option. If you do see it, click the Edit button next to Dental to change your coverage.
52 Page 52 Scroll down to see all your dental options. Scroll Down
53 Page 53 Choose your dental vendor and plan for 2011.
54 Page 54 Scroll down to select the dependents you wish to include on your Dental coverage. The coverage level will change automatically based upon the dependents you choose to cover. Scroll Down
55 Checkmark the box to the left of any dependent you wish to include on this coverage. Page 55

57 You will then see a review page for you to confirm your selections. Click OK to continue. Page 57

59 Page 59 Some employees will see life insurance information on this page but these options are standard and cannot be changed.* *Note: Higher Education employees who wish to make changes to their Optional Special Accident coverage will need to ask their Agency Benefits Coordinator for an OSA form. Once you are satisfied with your Medical and (if available) Dental selections, click the Submit button to move to the next step.
60 Page 60 Your enrollment is not yet complete. To finalize your selections, click the Submit button on this page.
61 Your benefits selections for 2011 have been successfully submitted. Click OK to return to the welcome screen and print a confirmation. Page 61
