1 PRESENTS OPEN EUROPEAN OLD SCHOOL of BMX CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP PROMO RACE DESSEL - BELGIUM OCTOBER 2 & Dessel Belgium, May 2 nd It's our pleasure to invite you all to come to Dessel - Belgium for the 1 st Open European Old School of BMX Championship and the International Champions Cup for Junior and Elite riders. We want you to celebrate together with us our 10 years anniversary of BMX 2000 DESSEL. The town of Dessel is located in the north of Belgium about 12 km south-east of the city of Turnhout and just 10 min. from the border with the Netherlands. Dessel has a population of people. You can find lots of woods, lakes around Dessel and it is known for the crossing of two water canals and the clearest white sand for making all kinds of glass. Dessel has several supermarkets, bakeries, pubs, restaurants etc. Dessel is the hometown of the world famous hardrock music festival Graspop Metal Meeting and former 5 times World Champion motocross 500cc Joël Smets who is a proud board member of the organizing club, Off-Road Club BMX 2000 DESSEL. BMX 2000 DESSEL has 130 licensed riders, 8 coaches and every week 3 days of training, 2 groups a night. Furthermore a mountain bike training and racing program for kids under 15 years off age. Do sent enclosed registration-form to: frank.smets2@telenet.be No pre registration for promo race on Sunday. Registration : All registrations for both the Old School races and the International Champions Cup will be at the track on Saturday October 2 nd 2010 (see time-schedule enclosed). Late entries in Old School classes will also be possible on the day of the races, however they should register BEFORE hours on October 2 nd Registration fee old school race : All classes 10 Registration fee international champions cup : Junior / Elite woman 25 Junior / Elite men 40 ATTENTION! On Sunday October 3 rd a normal bmx race will be run as well under the title Promo-race. Those Old School riders interested can participate in that event too! PRE REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT ON SUNDAY IS A MUST HOWEVER. A day license is in order here. Registration promo race : 14 years and younger 6

Age classes: 26/34, 35/39, 40/44 and 45 and over. Open Ladies class Pré Criteria Pré 1990 bikes: must have 1 inch threaded headset/ caliper brakes/ NO click pedals/ all parts on bike must be before No restrictions on tires and brake cables. Age class: 35 and over. Open class modern bikes, built in 1990 and younger, click pedals allowed. Age class: 35 and over. Side hack class Age rider: 35 and over; age monkey minimum age 16. Number plates: Everyone has to ride with his own number and numberplate (old school!?). Uniforms: Preferable, do wear old school uniforms. Classes champions cup event : Junior/elite woman combined. Junior/elite men combined. Number plates : Everyone has to ride with his own number plate. Must have also the lateral plates left and right from the bike. Awards : Open European Old School of BMX Championship Trophies for podium places (first 3) and a reminder/souvenir for all competitors.

5 Old school bicycle show. During the whole event it will be possible for individuals and old school bmx bike collectors to show their unique restored bmx bikes in a special area in the big tent, free of charge ofcourse. Don't miss out on this show, come on collectors e.o.! 5. Promo race Sunday October 3 rd 2010: Registration Practice 11 and younger Practice 12 and over Start race Practical info : Entrance fee: free / no charge Catering You can buy hot and cold food at vendors, next to the track and furthermore all kinds of drinks in the big tent. All open during practice and racing. There are bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants at 1.5 km from the track in the center of Dessel. Camping and hotels The riders camping site is located 700 meters from the track, follow the signs, CAMPING BMX. Electricity, water and toilets are available 24/24 hours. Price for a location for the whole event (Friday up and till Sunday) is 10,= The camping site is open from: Friday October 1 st. from h h Saturday October 2 nd. from 7.00 h until Sunday October 4 th. till h. Parking Car parking is located in the streets across the track. It is not allowed to park your car along the main road next to the track Team tents It is not allowed to set up tents on the spectator area around the track. There is a special Team Tent Paddock, as mentioned above.
