2 Punch and Die Sets for Electrical Panels ITC proposes several steel plate punching tools for work on electrical and control panels. Hydraulic Round Punch/Die Sets Model HYPH-052 (Part No ) is an economical hydraulic kit for punching holes in mild steel (max. thickness 3.2mm = ). It includes one hydraulic cylinder to operate under oil pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi), 6 4-splitter round punch/die sets for the most common round holes: ½ (22mm), ¾ (27.5mm), 1 (34.3mm), 1 ¼ (43mm), 1 ½ (48.8mm), 2 (60.8mm), as well as 3 draw studs and 3 draw stud adapters. Supplied in a sturdy plastic carrying case. Spare punch/die sets are also available. Operate mechanical punches until the metal has been cut, without forcing the punch into the die after cutting. Punch and die profiles may be sharpened if necessary.

3 TRISTAR Round Punch/Die Sets ITC supplies TriStar Punch/Die sets (Manufactured in Germany by ALFRA), which can punch holes in mild steel plate, max. thickness 3.0 mm., without using a hydraulic punch just a draw stud with ball-bearing head. While a hydraulic cylinder with appropriate pump may also be used if available, TriStar dies and punches can operate mechanically up to large diametres thanks to the special design of the 3 cutting edges and the ball-bearing draw studs. Punches and punch sets are available for a variety of sizes, including metric, Pg as well as NPT knockouts. TriStar set include punch/die sets as indicated, ball-bearing draw studs, one pre-dill HSS bit and one can of grease, in a plastic case. 4 Rectangular Punch Sets These unique punch and die sets are specially designed for punching rectangular holes of the exact sizes required to install multi-pole connector housings. Not only do they punch the rectangular knockouts, but also indent 4 guide points for drilling the appropriate mounting holes. They are designed to operate by a hydraulic cylinder (Part No ), or hand hydraulic pump (Part No ), are easy to align, and offer considerable time and cost savings compared to drilling/cutting, for installation of popular multi-pole connectors (ITC s ILME product line) and cable passing devices such as ITC s ICOTEK models. Maximum steel thickness: 2.0mm. Supplied in a plastic case with draw stud. When die and punch are pressed against each other, the drilling position gets marked on the interjacent work sheet. These 4 marks can be used as a drilling template. With help of a twist drill, the drilling assembly for connectors can be done easily. 5 Hydraulic Pumps and Punchers ITC offers manual/battery powered hydraulic pumps as well pneumatichydraulic pumps, and hydraulic cylinders. HH-700/HYP-700 models automatically release when the maximum pressure of 700bar (10,000psi) is reached. They come equipped with a 2m hose with connector and a steel carrying case. The pneumatic-hydraulic power pack (Part No ) is a monoblock unit equipped with a pneumatic actuator which in turn operates a hydraulic pump. It has an oil tank of 2.1 liters, and operates at an air pressure of 3 to 8 bar. It is supplied complete with oil hose and sound absorber Part No is a hand-held hydraulic pump in the same body as a cylinder head: no hose! Ideal for the shop floor, it can be coupled to punch/die sets up to 64 mm dia. (3.0mm mild steel) or up to 85mm dia. (2.0mm mild steel). Maximum operating pressure is 650 bar, and because of its all-aluminium construction it weighs only 1,600g and is supplied in a plastic carrying case with 2 draw studs, one pre-drill HSS bit 11mm and 3 adapters. This pump is also available in kits with punches. Part No (AKKU) is a hand-held, battery powered hydraulic pump/punch: practical handling with high performance rechargeable battery of 18V for round, square and rectangular punches for builders of control cabinets, panels and electrical system. The high performance rechargeable batteries can be inserted in two ways so you can obtain a weight counterbalance. This kit includes the punch, battery, charger, 2 draw studs, one pre-drill HSS bit 11mm and one distance bush. 6 Hole Saws and Multi Step Drills TCT Hole Saws A new family of carbide-tipped hole-saws designed for work on mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, plastic or wood. The new TCT Hole Saws presented by ITC and manufactured in Germany by ALFRA vastly differ from conventional HSS bi-metal hole saws currently found on the market. They provide high precision cutting, combined with a long tool life, which can be extended further with replaceable center drill bits or arbors, and the possibility of tooth sharpening, if required. For use with hand drills (recommended to max. hole dia. 40 mm = 1 9/16 ) or with vertical drills/drill presses. Models available from Ø 16mm = 5/8 to 150mm = 5 7/8 approx. CAD-designed cutting carbide tips optimize cutting capacity and reduce need for re-grinding. Replaceable centre bit with tapered tip no need for center punch. Removal of core after cut is made simple thanks to the replaceable ejector spring. Arbors can be replaced on models from Ø 32mm to Ø 150mm (smaller models are made from a single piece arbor/saw and cannot be replaced). The centre bit can be replaced on all models. 8 Multi-Step Drills HSS multi-step drills are suitable for all materials, including steel max. 6mm thick, non-ferrous materials, stainless steel, most plastic materials. Spiral cut chip spaces guarantee running smoothness. Cylindrical hole-steps. Replaceable center drill bit on most models. For each drilling diameter chosen, the size immediately above is used for deburring/countersinking. TiAlN (Titanium aluminium nitride) coating is suitable for use on very hard material, offers optimal tool life even with use at the highest speed. Vickers hardness 2600 to 3300 HV.
