1 Group exercise classes Group exercise classes From February 03 e inspired in 03 with our fitness and wellbeing programme. We have a programme of group exercise classes in our sports centres and in the community, designed for all ages, all levels of fitness and all ranges of ability. New spin programme In addition to classes at Moorways Sports Centre and Springwood Leisure Centre, classes are now available at Queen s Leisure Centre.. 7 new classess have been added to the Group Exercise Programme at Queen s, including Express 30 minute lunch time sessions and Early ird sessions, which start at 7.5am. If you are new to spin, and not sure what to do, don t worry! Our Fitness and Wellbeing Instructors will show you how to set up and use the bike, to ensure you get the best from your workout. For your introduction to, come along 5 minutes prior to the class starting or speak to an Instructor in the Gym who will arrange a time to suit you. To prevent injuries, it is important that you take part in the class warm-up. For this reason, you may not be able to take part in the class if you are more than five minutes late. Please make sure you are on time for the class. It is also important that you stay for the class cool-down. If you need to leave early, please let your instructor know before the class starts. Please let your instructor know if there is anything that may affect your ability to do any part of the class, for example an injury or illness. Children are not allowed in the studio while classes are taking place. Wear clothing that is easy and comfortable to move in. Suitable footwear must be worn at all times. Please switch off your mobile phone during the class.

How to pre-book your group exercise class... For all classes including and Zumba, telephone the individual sports centre - contact details are on each centre s page. Members can book up to seven days in advance. Casuals can book up to five days in advance. 4 hours cancellation for pre-booked classes is required, non attendances may be charged the session price. Passport Conc. Pass Accessibility Many of our classes are fully accessible and suitable for all levels and abilities. If you have limited mobility or have a disability and would like advice on which are the best classes for you, please telephone us on or admin.sports@ derby.gov.uk The Movement The Movement sessions cost.75, except Mums and Daughters Zumba which costs for under 8s and 3 for adults ( 4 for adults attending without a child). No need to book, just come along and join in! Work it! Save money with our great value bfit memberships. Craig goes to two one-hour group exercise classes a week. 12 Aqua classes Aqua Fit Aerobics in water. Easy on your joints yet tones your muscles. Great if you need to lose weight or have limited mobility. Weights available - ask the instructor. Aqua Combining the Zumba formula with Aqua fitness techniques, this is a challenging water based workout. It works on cardioconditioning and bodytoning. WaterWorks - Aqua Fit Effective total body workout in water. You can choose your intensity level. Combat/ bootcamp classes ootcamp Circuits Indoor and outdoor class that mixes traditional exercises such as sit ups and burpees with interval and strength training.
