2 What scores do I need to pass each End-of-Course test? For English I, a scale score of 1875 is considered passing on the Reading section as well as the Writing section. So, the two tests have a combined passing score of. Each essay is scored by two graders, and each of their scores is doubled. This creates a maximum of 16 possible points for each essay. To Graduate Students in Phase-in 1 who graduate at or above the Recommended High School Programmust meet a cumulative score requirement of 11,250 on their English I, II and II exams in Reading and Writing.

For example, if a student takes the Algebra I EOC in, then she must meet the Phasein 1 standards ( = passing ) for all of her remaining EOC math tests. Students at or above the Recommended High School Program for graduation must meet the score on Algebra II. In addition, the cumulative score requirements from all three math EOC exams are determined as follows: Phase-in 1: 3 = 10,500 Phase-in 2: 3 = 11,250 Final Recommendation: 3 = 12,000 The I cut score is required on the Algebra II EOC test for students graduating under the Distinguished Achievement Program.
