3 1. How was a party close date determined for my existing parties before the new system?
4 1. How was a party close date determined for my existing parties before the new system? The close date for scheduled or open parties that existed prior to the code update has been set to be 14 days after the Party Date/Time. For example, if your party was created on June 1, 2014 then the Open Date was set to the date the party was created. If that party was scheduled to be held on September 3, 2014 the Close Date assigned to this existing party would be 14 days later, or September 17, 2014.

7 2. How do I set my open and close dates for new parties? New Parties Are Open for 28 Days For all newly created parties, you will have a 28 day open period during which the party will be open, will show in party drop down menu during the checkout process, and can have orders assigned to or associated with the party. The actual in-home or online party can be scheduled for any time during the 28 day open period and is known as the Party Date/Time. This is the date and time that displays on your party webpage.

Consider an Open Date that is prior to your Party Date/Time If you tend to like having party orders come in prior to the party, you will likely want to set your Party Open Date to be several days before the actual party. If you prefer to have the same amount of time to have orders placed on a party both before and after the actual party date, then you may consider setting your Party Open Date to be 13 days before the Party Date/Time so that the Party Close Date will automatically fall 14 days after the Party Date/Time.

Choosing an Open Date Automatically Sets Your Close Date When you select a Party Open Date, the Party Close Date is automatically set to be 28 days later. Remember, you can close an Active Party at anytime by clicking the Mark as Closed button.

13 3. Once I set my open and close dates, can I change them? No. Once you set your Party Open and Close Dates, they cannot be changed by you or customer support. The actual Party Date/Time that falls within the 28 day open period can be edited and moved within the 28 day period, but the Open Date and Close Date cannot be changed. Were the Open and Close Dates editable, the 28 day/4 week party duration limit would be unenforceable. If you find that you set improper Open and Close Dates on a party before the party has any sales attached to it, you can always close that party out and start fresh with a new party since there is no limit on the number of parties you can have.

20 5. I received a party request, but I don't know when it will be held, what do I do? Step 1: Determine whether the date requested by the prospective hostess will work for a party. When you receive a party request, reach out quickly to the prospective hostess to determine if the date she requested to host a party works for each of you and is ideal for a party. If the prospective hostess is not immediately available, don t worry requested parties can stay in that section indefinitely if needed as no close date is assigned to a requested party upon creation. Step 2: Set the Open Date & the Party Date/Time by clicking Edit on the Requested Party and selecting the appropriate dates.

24 6. Do I need to change the status of a party anymore? No, but you can. Under the previous system, you could update the status of an order from scheduled to open. Now the change occurs automatically once the Open Date/Time for the party has been reached. Moving a Party from a Requested status to a Scheduled or Open status requires the consultant to set the Open Date for the Requested party as described in FAQ #5. You now also have the ability to mark a party as closed and then reopen the party or fundraiser so long as you are still within the 28 day open period and no hostess rewards have been redeemed on the party or no payment has been issued on a fundraiser.

What are the party statuses and do they matter? 1 Requested The status of a party requested through your website by a prospective hostess. 2 Scheduled A party where the 28 day open period is not yet in effect because the open date is farther into the future. 3 Open A party during the 28 day open period that has not been closed and no rewards have been redeemed on the party. Open parties appear in the customer drop down menu that is used to associate an order with a party. 4 Closed A party after the 28 day open period or an open party that has been manually Marked as Closed. Closed parties can be reopened if the party is still in its open period and hostess rewards or a fundraiser payment has not been processed on the party.

30 9. Can I assign a retail order to a party if it is placed without associating it to a party? Yes. Retail, Regular, or Party orders that are not assigned to a party during the checkout process by either you or a customer may be assigned to a party for 5 days from the date of the order. Once an order is assigned to a party, it is no longer editable and cannot be reassigned to another party. If 5 days pass from the date of the order without the order being assigned to a party, the Move Order to Party link will disappear and the order will no longer be eligible to be assigned to a party. Inventory, Personal Discount, Starter Kits, and Promo and Marketing orders cannot be assigned to a party. If an order has been assigned to a party, it is no longer editable and cannot be moved to a different party. As a result, be sure to name your parties in a way that the can easily be distinguished from one another.

33 10. Can I close a fundraiser and how do I know when it has been paid? You can now close a fundraiser just like you would a party by clicking on the Mark as Closed button when it appears. To redeem hostess rewards on a party, you click the Redeem Hostess Rewards button. For fundraisers, however, no button click is needed. Each week, the Jamberry home office team will batch all Fundraisers that closed during the previous week and prepare checks to send to the specified charitable recipient. Once the batch has processed, the fundraiser will indicate to the consultant that the payment has been sent.
