2 How we started: The first two fundraising events "Mihai Neșu Foundation" Gala The "Cel mai drag număr 3 la Antena 3" campaign

3 "Mihai Neșu Foundation" Gala The first grand fundraising action was the «Mihai Nesu Foundation» Gala on the 20th of February, 2012 in Utrecht, Netherlands. More than 200 people took part at the event out of whom there were many of Mihai's colleagues, coaches and former colleagues. They bought their participation tickets for the great Gala where they were offered food prepared by the well-known Dutch cook, Ramon Boek. Moreover, the guests enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere made by some of the most beloved artists from the «Country of tulips», who performed wtihout any honorarium. The highlight of the evening was the auction of objects received from the Foundation's sponsors but also of the last T-shirt worn by Mihai Nesu in a football game, purchased by FC Utrecht owner's wife for 1000 Euros. This action was a real success, the Foundation managed to gather a total of 58,000 Euros. Moreover, 12,000 Euros were offered by FC Utrecht, the bonus money for their last victory. In addition, at the game preceding the Gala, between FC Utrecht and AZ, the fans showed their support by donating approximately 8000 Euros to «Mihai Nesu Foundation».

4 The "Cel mai drag număr 3 la Antena 3" campaign The «Cel mai drag numar 3 la Antena 3» campaign is the second fund raising event of the Foundation, but the first one which takes place in Romania. On the 10th of March, 2012, Antena 3 dedicated its programs to «Mihai Nesu Foundation». Between 10 a.m. and 12 a.m., Antena 3's TV shows presented parts from the coverage made at Utrecht by the «In premiera» TV show. This coverage was especially made with and about Mihai Nesu, but it also included materials about other Romanian people in similar health situation who are in need of help. Antena 3 wants to raise funds for «Mihai Nesu Foundation» in order to help a larger number of childen and young people who are in difficult situations. Therefore, Mihai Nesu sent T-shirts from FC Utrecht with his number «3» and also T-shirts from his Foundation which were used by the presenters and moderators of the Intact trust. These T-shirts have been auctioned afterwards and won by the viewers who sent an SMS at the number 877 during the day, available in Orange, Vodafone and Cosmote mobile networks, service made available by the «Mereu Aproape» Foundation. One SMS had the cost of 2 Euros without taxes. Each hour, a phone number was drawn (among those which sent messages) following up a raffle. The winner won a T-shirt that belonged to Mihai Nesu. In other words, T-shirts had been won with a minimal financial effort of 2 Euros, these money being used to help disabled people in the struggle of recovering their mobility. Directly after the campaign started on Antena 3, they raised euro within fourteen hours. The people sended text messages to the special number 877. Fourteen game shirts from Mihai were won by the Romanian people. The campaign was launched in order to support several cases related to children with disabilities.

This coverage was especially made with and about Mihai Nesu, but it also included materials about other Romanian people in similar health situation who are in need of help.

5 Helping the children with disabilities in Romania April 2012-August 2013 In 18 months, Mihai Nesu Foundation payed almost 75,000 Euros for rehabilitation treatments to private clinics in Ukraine and Slovakia, Orto-Clinic center in Bucharest, hyperbaric clinics in Constanta, to Maria Beatrice center in Alba Iulia or to Mrs. Angela Tudor s medical office in Targoviste. 26 children underwent sessions of treatment for periods of time in between one month and one year (depending on the complexity of the therapy and its cost), and we tried to offer a sum of money between 1000 and 5000 Euros for each child.

12 Phoenix Diosig (Bihor county, Romania), the first Romanian team sponsored by Mihai Nesu Foundation January 2013 Mihai Nesu Foundation continues the extension of the Football department by supporting the talented young football players in Romania and Holland. The first Romanian team chosen to be sponsored by our foundation is Phoenix Diosig. The team has a young and talented coach, as well as a multitude of children in love with football at different age groups. Even though it is a small football club from a village of Bihor county, Phoenix Diosig can be considered an authentic nursery for the football clubs in Oradea, the biggest city of the county. Moreover, the club has children who play in the national teams of Romania for different age groups. Mihai Nesu Foundation will continue to search for football clubs with talented children that cannot provide optimal conditions for their professional development.

The team has a young and talented coach, as well as a multitude of children in love with football at different age groups.

13 "Mihai Neșu" Cup- Utrecht, Netherland The youth football players will competed on the 2nd of June for the Mihai Nesu Cup. The youth tournament was organized by the Mihai Nesu Foundation. The U13 team of Steaua Bucharest, one of George Ogararu Foundation s team and the U13 team of Belgian Leuven are some of the European participants. SC Heerenveen, NEC, Willem II, Sparta Rotterdam, Volendam and Excelsior will also enter the competition. The Mihai Nesu football team, whose players train at the Voetbalschool Balgevoel, complete the list of participating teams. The participation of the youth team of Romanian club Steaua Bucharest is very special to Mihai Nesu because, everybody knows, he started his top-class football career at this football club. The presence of the Romanian football players selected by George Ogararu and his foundation is also important. Ogararu is the Vice- President of the Mihai Nesu Foundation, but he has a private foundation in Romania through which he stimulates youth to play sports. The participation of the Belgian club Leuven has a link with one of the MNF ambassadors, Dries Mertens(player in Seria A,at SC Napoli), who started his career at this club. The first edition of Mihai Nesu Cup took place on Sunday, the 2nd of June 2013, at the sports complex Fazantenkamp Maarssen. The twelve participating teams, MNF team 1 and 2, Steaua Bucharest, AGO team, SC Heerenveen, NEC, Willem II, Sparta Rotterdam, Volendam, Excelsior, OHL and De Graafschap, competed one against the other in the first edition of Mihai Nesu Cup. Luckily, the weather was on our side and the tournament was successful in every possible way. Excelsior D1 won the final played against the Mihai Nesu Foundation team 1 by 1-0 and was handed the trophy by FC Utrecht owner, Frans van Seumeren and former FC Utrecht player, Alje Schut. De Graafschap was the second runner up of the tournament, while their opponent, Romanian team AGO (Association George Ogararu) ended the tournament on the forth place. Steaua Bucharest The keeper of MNF team 2, Max de Bree, was named best goalkeeper of all teams, and Etienne Muishout from Excelsior won the best player of the tournament title.

SC Heerenveen, NEC, Willem II, Sparta Rotterdam, Volendam and Excelsior will also enter the competition.
