1 CAMP PROGRAMME 2015 Dear guys, as You can see, Camp Amicitia will be held in three regions of central Italy: Lazio, from June 30th to July 7 th; Umbria, from July 7th to 14 th; Sardinia, from July 14nd to 18 th. This is the Program : LAZIO: June 30th (Tuesday) Arrival at Roma Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and welcoming by local Leo and Lions. Transfer to the Hotel with the support of Lions and Leo. Welcoming dinner at Casa dell Aviatore Hotel offered by L.C. Roma Palatinum. Back to the Hotel and overnight stay. July 1st (Wednesday) Transfer by train to Anzio. Meeting with local authorities, guided visit of local Museum, of Nerone s Villa and guided tour of the Lighthouse, of Sangallo Fort and also of Nettuno historical center. Lunch at Circolo Canottieri of Nettuno in front of the sea. Dinner at Fusari home. Back to Rome by train and overnight stay in Hotel. July 2nd (Thursday) Transfer to Cassino by train; guided visit of Abbazia di Montecassino and Archeological Site. Pic-nic in the Terme Varroniane Park. After lunch guided visit of local Museum and city center. Dinner in a typical restaurant of Cassino. Back to Rome and overnight stay in the Hotel. July 3rd (Friday) Guided visit of Piazza Venezia, Fori Imperiali and Ara Pacis Augustae. Lunch in Terrazza Caffarelli offered by L.C. Roma Augustus. Guided visit of Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona.

2 Dinner offered by L.C. Roma Host Castel Sant Angelo. Back to the Hotel and overnight stay. July 4th (Saturday) Transfer by train to Frascati and guided visit of Osservatorio Astronomico di Roma at Monterporzio Catone, organized by L.C. Roma Castelli Romani. Lunch at Evy Cesarotti s Home. After lunch guided visit of Archaeological Park of Tuscolo and Anfiteatro. Guided tour of Villa Aldobrandini s gardens and Ninfeo. Dinner in a typical restaurant of Frascati. Back to Rome and overnight stay. July 5th (Sunday) Transfer to Ostia and guided visit the Archeological Site of Ostia Antica. Lunch in a typical restaurant of Ostia. Relax afternoon at the seaside. Dinner in a typical restaurant with Leo and Lions Club Roma Mare. Back to the Hotel and overnight stay. July 6th (Monday) Vatican guided visit: Vatican Museums, Cappella Sistina (World Heritage Site) and Saint Peter s Basilica, offered by L.C. Roma E.U.R. Colosseum. Walk through Rome s Center: shopping and ice cream. Dinner in a typical restaurant with Leos and L.C. Roma Ara Pacis. Back to the Hotel and overnight stay. July 7th (Tuesday) Transfer to Perugia by bus and welcoming by Lions friends.

3 UMBRIA: The youths stay in Umbria will take place with the support of host families. July 7th (Tuesday) Arrival at Perugia by bus and welcome of the host families. Afternoon, Dinner and overnight stay at the Families house. July 8th (Wednesday) Transfer to Assisi and visit of the historical centre, organized by L.C. Assisi. July 9th (Thursday) Guided visit to Perugia city with Leo and Lions. Meeting with the Rector of the Foreigners University, a very important University in Italy. Take-away lunch. Welcome dinner and presentation of the guys, care of La Meridiana Hotel. Back to the Families house and overnight stay. July 10th (Friday) Transfer to Gubbio and visit to the city, organized by L.C. Gubbio. July 11th (Saturday) Transfer to Orvieto and visit to the city, organized by Leo and Lions Club Orvieto. July 12th (Sunday) Transfer to Spoleto and visit to the city, organized by Leo and Lions Club Spoleto. July 13th (Monday) Transfer to Terni.

4 Visit to San Valentino Basilica and to the Marmora Falls, with lunch in a typical restaurant. July 14th (Tuesday) Transfer to Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) by bus and departure for Alghero.

5 SARDINIA: July 14th (Tuesday) Arrival to Alghero (Fertilia Airport). Transfer in Monte Oro at Maria Antonietta Lamberti s home for the welcoming of the youths by the Lions authorities and host families. Lunch for all the participants. Relax in the pool. Transfer to the host Families homes and overnight stay. July 15th (Wednesday) Transfer to Stintino and relax at La Pelosa beach. Beach, visit and/or shopping in the historical center of Stintino. Dinner and overnight stay. July 16th (Thursday) Breakfast and day at the La Pelosa beach. Beach, visit and/or shopping in the historical center of Stintino. Dinner and overnight stay. July 17th (Friday) Transfer by bus from Stintino to Sassari. Free day to visit the city. Downtown visit and shopping. Farewell dinner with the Lions authorities. July 18th (Saturday) 10:20 transfer by train to Cagliari (arrival at 13:30) and meeting with the host families and the Tutor for those who do not sleep in the family. In the Afternoon guided visit of the city's historical center, gardens and botanical garden. Pizza night and Back to the their respective accommodation and overnight stay.

6 July 19th (Sunday) Departure by bus for Barumini Tour of the Nuragico village Lunch box and after lunch transfer to Cabras Visit to the Giants Mount Prama or to the caves or mines July 20th (Monday) Welcome Meeting with local authorities. Relax at the beach, lunch box or lunch in the local restaurant offered by Lions Officers or local Lions Clubs. Farewell dinner. July 21th (Tuesday) Departure. NOTES: European campers will fly back to their homes, while non-europeans will fly back to Rome to be welcomed by their Host Families in Lazio, where they will stay until July 27 th, when they ll fly back to their homes too. Little changes in the programme may be necessary in accordance with the Municipal Authorities and/or Lions Clubs or Officers needs. All the guys will take part in the photographic contest Cogli l attimo, with no more than 2 pictures taken during their stay in Lazio and/or Umbria. All the pictures will be downloaded in a CD/DVD.
