5 Service LifeGuard is FLSA s online inspec on reports system. All life safety devices are bar-coded and scanned when inspected to provide an accurate inspec on record for every device on your property. Each me a barcode is scanned, it is stamped with the date and me so you know when an inspector was inspec ng each device. Forget filing cabinets and searching for old reports. All the reports for your property are stored online and accessible 24/7/365. View, download, or print reports using our user friendly inspec on portal. All inspec on data is stored on a secure web-server that is backed up daily and archived off-site. For security purposes, all inspec on data for your property is encrypted and only accessible by you and FLSA.

8 Life Safety Design FLSA offers compeve pricing backed by years of exper se and knowledge without sacrificing the quality and service that have been our standard of excellence. Our design and es ma ng staff are experienced and knowledgeable regarding the design and specifica ons for all types of fire protec on and life safety systems installa on, including residen al and special hazards systems. We offer our customers several key services throughout the construc on cycle. In the preliminary stages of a project, we may assist the owner in evalua ng what is needed, or may advise on code requirements. FLSA s es ma ng and design team can develop a specific proposal based on the engineer s specifica ons, and offer the most economical and cost effec ve design and installa on plan that will meet codes and regulatory requirements. To accomplish this goal, we work closely with the local AHJs, the architects and engineers, the owner, and the insurance companies. Each office s design team is lead by a highly qualified and experienced Design Manager, to assure the highest quality design with the most efficient and cost effec ve installa on plan. Our designers are NICET cer fied, with the knowledge and experience in building codes and insurance requirements for a wide variety of building uses. A fully integrated network system allows our designers, es mators, and field managers access to our electronic design files. We can easily communicate design changes via the internet, and informa on with revisions are transmi ed with minimal me delay.

9 Alarms and Special Hazards As a life safety system, the primary func on of a Fire Detec on and Alarm System is for the no fica on and safe evacua on of personnel. A Fire Detec on system can add secondary benefits of providing a much earlier warning of a fire when compared to buildings protected exclusively by a sprinkler system. FLSA sells, installs, services, and monitors fire alarm and detec on systems, clean agent fire suppression systems, and other special hazard suppression systems. Our fire protec on systems protect lives and property in a variety of facili es including, but not limited to, commercial property, hotels/resorts, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living, residen al complexes, military installa ons, food processing and storage facili es, plywood and paper mills, hospitals, residen al complexes, and railroad transporta on systems. FLSA s ASH (Alarms and Special Hazards) teams are supported at each loca on by managers with over 100 years combined experience. Our installa on and design teams are made up of factory trained, NICET cer fied technicians. Industry Leading Three Year Warranty Work performed by FLSA is supported by an industry leading three year limited warranty. FLSA can work with a er hours or special work circumstances, recognizing the need to work within the customer s schedule with minimal impact to the customer s opera ons. * Warranty is based upon FLSA performing service in addi on to a mul year inspec on agreement on the system during the warranty.

FLSA has special rela onships with Viking Fire Products, Tyco Fire Products (Central, Gem and Star lines) and Reliable Fire Protec on. We pay them early (discoun ng our bills), so we are able to obtain products on a preferred basis. FLSA also has rela onships with mul -line distributors such as Hughes Supply, Atlan c American, American Fabrica on and Pacific Supply. FLSA also requires each district office to stock an inventory of service items needed for 24 hour response. So for any job, from 1 head to 60,000, you can rely on FLSA! Fire Detec on & Alarms FLSA designs, installs and services all types of fire/smoke detec on and fire alarm systems. From small educa onal facili es to high rise voice ac vated systems, FLSA can design a system to meet your specific needs. We employ NICET cer fied engineers as well as having our own fire protec on engineer on staff to insure the design of our systems will meet your specifica ons and meet current code requirements in your area. Our experienced NICET cer fied alarm technicians are able to service (repair or replace) older out-dated equipment to the most current state-of-the-art equipment available on the market today. FLSA is UL Listed for installa on of Local, Auxiliary, Remote Sta on, and Proprietary fire alarm systems. To complete our fire alarm system product lines, FLSA is a distributor for FCI (Fire Control Instruments), Fike, Gamewell, Harrington Signal, Silent Knight, Farenhyt, EVAX, System Sensor, UTC Fire & Security. We are full line distributors of each line. This enables us to install any size system from the smallest two-zone conven onal panel to the most advanced addressable panel as well as being able to supply networked systems where mul- ple panels are required.

11 Product Lines & Vendors FLSA is engaged with these following product lines, including various brands Special Hazards FLSA will design and install a wide range of Special Hazards systems. These Special Hazards systems are defined as the protec on of equipment that is cri cal to your business opera ons. This can mean anything from computer servers, telecommunica- on facili es to transformers. The selec on of the proper type of system will include the type of hazard, building construc on and occupancy. Some types of Special Hazards systems are clean agent, carbon dioxide, foam, water spray, High-fog Watermist and spark detec on systems. Most if not all of these systems will involve an alarm and detec on system to annunciate and discharge the agent. FLSA has its own alarm division so that these systems are provided as a single source for the owner or contractor. Addi onally, FLSA can offer Fike Signafire Video Flame and Smoke detec on, each detec on algorithm runs independently on the camera. This allows the end user to adjust the sensi vity se ngs low, medium, high, and ultra (smoke only) or turn off an algorithm all together. This built in flexibility allows for a wide range of video flame and smoke detec on op ons. This solu on has been opera ng successfully at large indoor football prac ce facili es and large arena applica ons as well as small, unmanned warehouse areas. Clean Agent Systems Clean Agent Systems will ex nguish fire as a gaseous agent and are ideal to protect electronic components. FLSA can provide LEED approved NOVAC 1230, ECARO 25, FM200 or inert gas type systems u lizing Chemetron, Ansul, UTC Fenwal and Fike product lines. Both types of systems are designed to provide a safe environment for occupied areas and protect equipment that is suscep ble to damage from water based fire protec on systems. A er ex nguishment these agents are designed for easy clean up, short disrup ons to your business and virtually no down me or loss in opera ons. Carbon Dioxide Systems Carbon Dioxide Systems are primarily used for local applica ons to protect specific equipment such as prin ng presses and engine turbines. It is best suited for unoccupied areas or areas where adequate warning can be given to allow for personnel evacua on prior to discharge of the agent.

Our experience in design and installa on of foam systems includes protec ng single projects with a bladder tank and in-line propor oner to mul ple systems protec ng hangers u lized for the F-22 aircra for the Department of the Navy. FLSA has installed over a dozen hangars u lizing both AFFF and High Expansion type foam agents. Our product lines for foam systems include primarily Viking and Ansul. FLSA has also provided protec on for specific equipment as cooling towers, transformers and conveyors with water spray systems using preac on or deluge systems. Ex nguisher Monitoring Systems Remote Fire Ex nguisher Monitoring systems provide an electronic signal that no fies you when a fire ex nguisher is blocked, missing from its designated loca on or when the pressure falls below safe opera ng levels. The system automa cally sends an alert to the building fire alarm system control panel. The alert can be sent to you via an instant , phone call, pager no fica on or fire alarm system control panel. Electronic monitoring eliminates the code required 30 day inspec on. U lizing en-gauge systems FLSA is the only independent fire protec on company on the east coast of the United States with the capabili es to provide this cost saving solu on. Mass No fica on and Emergency Communica on Systems (MNS) Designed using a building block approach with mul -layers to reach many people within the area as well as off-site. FLSA lines of mul -func on fire alarm control panels and stand-alone solu ons can be easily configured from a simple, standalone FACP to a sophis cated Mass No fica on System. We carry, design and install modular, two-wire construc on solu ons that make them the industry s most cost effec ve systems for new and exis ng buildings, facili es and campuses.
