2 Summer Camp - 9 weeks Start Date Latest End Date GREECE 3 Place Department the intern will be working: Sports and Cultural Department. Job Description: The intern will be working in the sport department of the camp, facilitate the dancing and gymnastics activities. The intern has to plan everyday training, prepare choreographic from any kind of dance or gymnastics, The exchange participant will have the role of the coach of a group of 15 children aged from 6-16 years old so he/she ll have to be flexible with the level of difficulty of the choreographies. The intern will have to cooperate with the art department of the camp so they can organize any kind of events for the children. The participation in the activities organized by the camp is obligatory, so as to be fully integrated to camp's environment and philosophy. Before arrival: he/she will have to make a presentation about him/herself and country Working Conditions: Tzioni camp is in a city 2 hours away from Thessaloniki and transportation isn t provided by AIESEC or Tzioni camp, so the intern will be responsible for his transportation. 1.The accommodation is provided in the camp facilities. For that purpose, trainees will work in children or senior citizen institutions during 6 weeks with children with disabilities or senior citizen. To generate a multicultural learning environment through exhibitions on culture.. Trainees will have to organize games and activities to transmit values to children and senior citizen,and they will have to plan in advance the activities and the materials needed. Before arrival: Prepare a cultural topic and prepare a presentation about the intern s native country. Working Conditions: The Project will take place in 2 kind of institutions: One that work with children or disabled children and the other that work with senior citizen. AIESEC Rosario in every cases will pay for the transportation of the EP from their host place to the schools. Host will be provided for free depending on the availability. Some meals might be included, depending on the organization. 1. Leadership and partnership development, improved interpersonal relationships, human resource management, work in interdisciplinary teams, and increased capacity for conflict resolution. 2. Cultural experience and knowledge about society in Rosario and the region and interaction with many young people. 3. Trainees will work in NGOs, educational institutions or community centers giving educational support or classes on different subjects and topics. Department the intern will be working: Educational and cultural workshops Job Description: To motivate children to learn so as to shape future generations who value education and effort. For that purpose, candidates will work in primary or secondary schools, during 6 weeks with teenagers. To prepare and implement cultural workshops. To share their cultural background. To give children coaching about current issues such as environment, bullying, social responsibility, etc. Children will have to give a final feedback to show what they have learnt during the project Candidates will receive assistance and coaching from AIESEC, but they will be free to prepare the workshops as they like. 5 Project Zeal 8 weeks Earliest Start Date Latest End Date INDIA The project Zeal is basically to empower the citizens in the city and lead the city towards a positive growth Job Description: WEEK 0 Welcome week for adaptation. WEEK 1 - Make paper bags in an NGO and distribute them in the city for a greener cause and create awareness about AIESEC. WEEK 2 - Teach foreign languages to high school children and involve in cultural exchange. This will carry on for the next 4 weeks as well. A maximum of 3 hours per week per client shall be carried on WEEK 3 - Organize school level competitions among children on various topics which would empower children and judge them. WEEK 4 - Conduct college level events, interacting with the youth in colleges regarding the issues being faced in the city and empower them to come up with creative ideas to solve the same. WEEK 5 - Conduct a typical GLOBAL VILLAGE event, where you would be presenting your country to the young generation here. WEEK 6 - Plan and make a FEED a DAY event, involving food distribution to the needy Before arrival:. 1. Distributing at least 2000 paper bags 2. Conduct language classes for at least 4 weeks of a minimum of 3 to 4 hours per week. 3. Successful conduction of the school level and the college level events in at least 8 different institutions. Working Conditions: Personal Workspace, Computer, Internet Access. This job will be developed in Sincelejo, Colombia. Each lesson will be focusing on a particular topic. Prepare interactive materials such as graphic slides, games, conversational role play, song lyrics and relevant videos for each topic. Present intern s country - making presentations about home country and its habits, sharing experience. Bring flag, souvenirs, costume and some traditional food. Deliver 10 classes per week 15 to 20 attendees per class Complete and creative country presentation during the global village. Grab the chance to bring your culture to a Scandinavian country, to break down cultural barriers and support young high-school students in reaching their goals of developing their language skills. This is your chance to show Danish students, how the real case scenario is behind the language that they are studying so be ready for being overly cultural minded when choosing this internship, cause you have to bring the action! The project and your role The main objective of this project is for you to help Danish high-school students developing their language skills, while bringing the aspect of cultural understanding. Your main role is to interact and speak with the students in the foreign language and this by giving them support and confidence, and thereby increasing their capabilities of interacting with different cultures. Therefor this project allows freedom to introduce culture in its own way and to develop language skills of the young Danish students while doing it. The program demands from you 40 weekly working hours with classes (including preparation time), and you will have a close collaboration with the teachers of the class, as youv will work together as a team. Supported/included - Accommodation - Transportation to school and back - One cultural event per month - One hot meal for lunch in school on each working day - Common workspace at the school - Some lovely Danish students very excited to meet you!
