1 March 2, 206 Brian Reams ECOTECH USA, LLC 33 S Main Street London, KY 4074 Subject: Estill County Schools and Blue Ridge Landfill Airborne Radiological Sampling Summary Dear Mr. Reams, Thank you for contracting Ameriphysics, LLC to provide environmental sampling and analysis services for the project referenced above. On February 28, 206, a total of 5 air samples were collected at several locations within Estill County School buildings, outside these buildings and within selected areas of the adjacent Blue Ridge Landfill. Air samples analyzed by Ameriphysics, LLC demonstrate the samples contain naturally occurring radionuclides at levels below allowable airborne concentrations listed in Title 0 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 20 (0 CFR 20) Appendix B Table 2. These values are used as indicated by 902 KAR 00:09 Section. Allowable airborne concentrations and air sample results provided in Table below are shown in microcuries per milliliter (µci/ml). Attachment provides the Air Sample Log and the individual Air Sample Analysis Sheets for samples identified in Table. Attachment 2 provides the air sampler and counting instrument certification of calibration traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
