4 Project Profiles: Standard Chartered Bank/ SCOPE International Chennai, India Online Product Approval (OPA) OPA is a real-time centralized portal for FM s new product approvals. All new product requests, reviews and approvals will be conducted using OPA. OPA will manage response timelines, send trigger reminders to approvers and an end-to-end audit trail will be logged for each new product request. The system will help stakeholders to manage their new product reviews by creating transparency around all outstanding requests, including the comments of other stakeholders. OPA Achievements: Eliminates long chains and the distribution of large documents for review and approval. Version control the latest approved reviews from each stakeholder will be updated under the same Master document and will be accessible (read-only) to all other approvers. All updates will be carried out in OPA automatically. Point-to-point task measurement is available in OPA, enabling users to benchmark and improve on their speed-to-market Request details will be pre-defined and standardized as far as possible. BlueShield of California MITS has done several engagements with Blue Shield, which includes IBM FileNet Software installations and application development. Blue Squared The Blue Shield of California s (BSC) Blue Squared ECM Implementation project is meant to create an infrastructure to support the new Blue Squared (B2) application and changes to the imaging process for attachments. The B2 application will allow the various business groups in BSC to view claims inventory, request and send claim attachments (medical records), and submit 276 Claim Status request transactions. Therefore the infrastructure needs to exist to link the BSC Imaging System (outsourced to EDS) to a BSC central repository. Furthermore connectivity needs to exist between this central repository, the new B2 Web application, the claims mainframe database, and Blue Exchange. MITS is designing and developing this ECM Implementation Services for BSC B2 using IBM FileNet P8 ECM and BPM Platform and supporting tools. Genpact Mexico MITS Customer Support delivers best support and assistance to its customers, using the latest technology to speed up tracking and resolution of customer issues.. The support is available around the clock (24 x 365); with the MITS team mobilized instant to address high-priority issues and is committed to rapid problem resolution. An experience of supporting solutions developed exclusive for GENPACT INDIA, Standard Chartered Bank Scope International and Wells Fargo India Solutions. MITS acknowledges that outsourcing of technical helpdesk isn't just about cost effectiveness. It's about obtaining good technology personnel and working with established processes. The scope of work is On-Going FileNet P8 based Applications Support, MITS is providing Offshore Support to Genpact via phone or , 8 hours a day and 5 days a week. Genpact India (Hyderabad, India) Genpact India is also GE s major Business Process Outsourcing unit in India. MITS has been providing support and maintenance services to their existing solutions on FileNet P8. OCBC Document Migration (Singapore) FileNet Professional Services P8 ObjectStore export - Import Services (POXIS) Overview of the POXIS - FileNet has implemented a WFI System for two departments namely Accounts Services and Trade Finance. The daily transaction volumes generated by the 3 business units are approximately 4000 transactions/day. The current volume is about 4 million. Along with the actual transaction volume, system maintains audit information of the transactions within the Content Engine database. As the system continues to grow, apart from regular housekeeping procedures, proper archival of the processed transactions along with their audited details needs to be conducted to maintain the WFI system efficiently and operate effectively. 5 In order to control the heavy inflow of the objects in the same objectstore, which in turns impact the performance of the system, the objects from the current objectstore would be archived to a new objectstore called archive objectstore. Business Needs: Archival of Custom Object/BP8 Objects using FileNet Enterprise Manager 3.0 was not usable when the objects were imported to another objectstore. Upon importing, the object ID s were not maintained the same as the new objectstore. The search operations to retrieve the objects for archiving were performed manually. There was no automation provided. The search operation to retrieve & export the objects took a long time (around minutes) even to retrieve 2000 objects. MITS developed a swing based archival tools with following features: Objects can be archived or exported to the new object store with the same object ID s using our Archival tool. Administrator can execute it either manually or can schedule it in the windows scheduler. Administrator can configure the archival parameters using the UI to filter the objects to be archived. To archive or export the objects it takes around 20 minutes for 4000 objects. The tool can be configured on P8 3.0 and above environments and it can be configured and installed on any other client locations without any code modifications Archival configuration settings Import / Export of Search Template using Script DBS Bank Singapore (MITS implementation for DBS I2R Workflows Application) The I2R Workflows Application is designed to move the DBS back office processing from a manual, paperbased operation to an image and workflow-driven environment providing significantly enhanced processing capability and efficiency with a lower cost base. The major infrastructure components of the solution include imaging and workflow. The purpose of the integration service module is to provide seamless and reusable connectivity between the FileNet and other platforms. This is done by creating interfaces via messages that can be leveraged by other external applications. The integration bypasses the DBS IP layer and communication is done directly between the EMS infrastructure and a Java service built on the FileNet side to perform this integration. MITS was responsible for following services: Integration Service Designed and implemented integration services to integrate FileNet CE with TIBCO-IPE. Integration is done by using TIBCO JMS. Workplace Customization - Customized workplace based on the application user groups. Created search and entry templates. View CE Document in TIBCO application. It helped TIBCO team to display documents from FileNet - CE in their web application. Ayalaland Inc - Philippines (esales System Contract Management) MITS along with a local partner developed and implemented Contract Management Solutions on FileNet P8 with eforms. MITS team developed a web-based application that helps standardize, streamline & automate the contract negotiation process. 6 Share documents across multiple organizations via a web portal Keep everyone informed with automated notifications and real-time reporting Department of Immigration Philippines (FileNet P8 Installation and Configuration) MITS was responsible for installed and configured IBM FileNet P8 system for Department of Immigration Services on Windows and AIX boxes. Wells Fargo India Solutions Hyderabad, India (Corporate Record Management System Development, Enhancement and Support) Wells Fargo India Solutions is an integral part of the Technology Information Group in the U.S. MITS is responsible to participate and deliver all the deliverables in the project life cycle. Shell Singapore (Hodini Project - Panagon Content Services 5.4) The project is to develop a Bulk Document uploading Tool. For the Shell s Hodini Project, Shell will be receiving bulk documents in the form of DVD s, CD s and hard disk with relevant metadata in.csv files. Bulk Document Uploading Tool Developed will read the CSV file; map it to the corresponding documents and Upload into the repository. MITS was responsible for all the phases of the project for above services. Canara HSBC Oriental Bank of Commerce life insurance Company ltd. (Installation & Configuration FileNet P8, Content Engine & Application Engine) MITS was responsible for the installation of the FileNet P8 4.0 Suite i.e. configuration of Content Engine ver 4.0 & Application Engine 4.0 in Oracle 10 g SAN Environment for the FileNet Capture Image services application. HP- Thailand We are providing consulting services to HP, for implementation of FileNet ECM projects in Thailand, to a Largest Bank in Thai. Document Management System- Madura Garments (Aditya Birla Group) The IBM FileNet product suite is proposed to deliver the needed business value in its endeavor to automate the processes for Madura Garments. The functional aspects of account payable and receivable activities are chosen to be the first of their business processes to be automated. Madura Garments needed functional and technical integration /touch points to their core business being run on SAP. MITS is responsible for all phases of the project for above services.
