Standard Reports can be exported as a PDF or as an Excel, Word, or Powerpoint document. Legacy Summary Reports can be exported as a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Excel document. Standard Reports Standard Reports can be exported as a PDF or Excel, Word, or PowerPoint document. PDF Export T he PDF Export will look most like your report as you see it in SurveyGizmo. When exporting a PDF version of a Standard Report, you can choose these options: Insert a page break after each question Include page numbers Include lists of open text answers

Incompatible Features and Elements T imeline Map Individual Responses Question Numbering Question-Piped Questions or Page-Piped Questions Filter Details Legacy Summary Reports Legacy Summary Reports can be exported as a PDF, Word, PowerPoint or Excel document. Word Exports If you prefer to share your results in Word you can export your summary report and further polish it within word. T he Word export creates a Word document with Microsoft Office charts and graphs. Below we'll cover a couple of differences between how your Summary Report looks within SurveyGizmo compared to the Word Export. T he good news is you can customize to your heart's content in Word! Colors Color customizations made within SurveyGizmo will not be present in the export. If you are planning to use the Word export and want to customize the chart colors you'll want to wait to do so in Word where it's easier anyway! Here's how: Right click on a slice of your pie chart and select Format Data Point.
Select Fill in the menu on the left and open the color dropdown that reads "Automatic." Select your color and click OK. Questions Per Page
T he Word export will have a page break after each question by default. You can delete the page break that follows a question or resize your charts to consolidate your report. Bar Chart Percentages Bar Chart Percentages will display above the bar as integers. Decimal places and % signs are not supported. Slider Area Charts Slider questions in SurveyGizmo will plot the data on an area chart. T his will not be exported to Word. You will have the data however to re-create the area chart if you wish. PDF Export T he PDF Export will look most like your report as you see it in SurveyGizmo. When exporting a PDF version of a Summary Report, you can choose these options: Avoid page breaks inside charts and tables Insert a page break after each question Include page numbers If you'd like to insert page breaks selectively check out our Insert Page Breaks T utorial that covers how!
Excel Export If you only need the aggregated data, the Excel Export option is a good choice. T his will export all the summarized statistics with no graphs. T his way you can create your own if you wish! PowerPoint Export Questions Per Page T he PowerPoint Export will start with a new slide for each question by default. T he good news is that
you consolidate the slides in your PowerPoint. Open-Text Questions Open-text questions will not be exported to PowerPoint. Chart Labels T he chart labels for pie charts in PowerPoint Exports will be the count for each answer option by default. If you wish to change this, click on one of the data labels and select the option to Format Data Labels. T o use the data labels as you see them in SurveyGizmo, select Percentage and Category name and uncheck Value under Label contains. And for Label position select Outside End in the dropdown menu and click OK.
Table Shading (Including Cross Tab) T he table shading that displays within SurveyGizmo will not be exported to PowerPoint. NPS Bars Graphs T he NPS graph that displays within SurveyGizmo will not be exported to PowerPoint. Display of Certain Elements T here are several data and display customizations that you can make within SurveyGizmo that will not be carried over to the PowerPoint Export. If you plan to use the PowerPoint Export we recommend waiting to make these customizations in PowerPoint! Exclude NA - T he setting to exclude NA options from your data will not be carried over to PowerPoint. Hide Response Counts - T he setting to hide response counts from your tables will not be carried over to PowerPoint. Hide Summary Tables - T he setting to hide summary tables in your report will not be carried over to PowerPoint. Hide Numbering - T he setting to hide summary tables in your report will not be carried over to PowerPoint. Other Notes on PowerPoint Exports Decimal points will be rounded in charts, but will display in table summaries and statistics tables. Charts with many answer options will display ALL options, whereas in the Summary Report you would see All Others bundled together.
When opening the export, charts with many options might seem like they are missing answer options. Once you enlarge the chart on the page, you will eventually see all of your answer options. T he height of the answer options in the graphs is determined by the longest answer option. Horizontal bar charts will not appear in this export. T he.pptx file generated cannot be opened by Apple's Keynote. T he.doc file generated cannot be opened by @ent Related Articles [template("related")]
