2 Bachelor of Information Technology(Hons) in Management Information System Vision Towards achieving excellent academia that will equip the learners with the latest and comprehensive ICT skills and knowledge to qualify them to become IS Professionals who can develop and implement ICT solutions. Mission Provide the students with the latest and comprehensive ICT skills and knowledge for them to develop and implement ICT solutions that enhance organizational performance. Prepare the students with the relevant competency and skills to become ICT knowledge workers who have a broad business and real world perspective. Strengthen the students analytical and critical thinking skills together with interpersonal and communication skills. Produce skilled graduates imbued with Islamic values and ICT professionalism and has the ability to contribute to nation building, wealth creation and unity of the ummah. Objective To equip the students with the latest and comprehensive ICT skills and knowledge for developing and implementing ICT solutions that enhance organizational performance To enable the students to graduate as competent and entrepreneurial ICT knowledge workers who are marketable to the Industry, locally and internationally. To strengthen the students analytical and critical thinking skills together with interpersonal and communication skills throughout the learning period and industrial attachment. To enable the students learn how to inculcate Islamic values into their ICT professionalism for the purpose of nation building, wealth creation and unity of the ummah. learning out come By having a Bachelor of Information Technology in Management Information System, a student should be able to: Apply the latest and relevant ICT skills and knowledge to develop and implement ICT solutions that enhance organizational performance. Perform the job and responsibilities of an ICT knowledge worker competently and in an entrepreneurial manner in relevant industries, locally and internationally. Design and implement ICT solutions that are viewed upon analytical and critical perspective and as a team that often requires the interpersonal and communication skills in the workplace. Work professionally, with positive attitude and with pleasant character according to Islamic values, as a qualified ICT knowledge worker for the purpose of nation building, wealth creation and unity of the ummah. A pass in MEDIU Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR A pass in any Diploma from universities or colleges recog nised by the Government of Malaysia and/or the senate of the University;OR Adult : Open Entry. Age : 21 years on 1st January during the year of application and Academic requirement :PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) and Working Experience: 5 years of working experience in the related field of studies OR Any other certificate or qualification that recognised by the Uni versity Academic Board as equivalent to one of the above. The student should not have any pending disciplinary charges. The University, if deemed necessary, may ask applicants to submit the University Entrance Examination as a condition for admission.
