Surrounded by lovingly tended gardens, our hotel, hamam and spa, and the two restaurants blend in effortlessly against the stunning backdrop of the Mendoza countryside. Architecture and nature form a harmonious whole, among the grape vines, cherry trees and dramatic foothills of the Argentinean Andes. The compact cubist concrete block that houses the hamam and spa sets off the surrounding gardens beautifully, making the sky seem even bluer and the trees even greener. Visitors pass through glass doors into the windowless interior, and into a cave of peace, security and relaxation. Inside the building, clear lines, purist forms, deep colors and elegantly employed oriental accessories are combined, all bathed in understated lighting. The traditional bodega at the entry of the property incorporates a wine bar, as well as a restaurant serving the traditional grilled meats that this part of the world is renowned for. An enchanting pathway leads guests to the modern structure that is home to the hotel at the heart of the property. With 16 rooms and a fine dining restaurant, the cool appearance of the building s concrete exterior is accentuated on the inside through the interplay of light and shadow, as well as brightly colored, playfully fashionable design. The vineloft room set within the vineyards is particularly futuristic in its styling. Like a cocon capsule it stands above the vines, with its round form offering a good sense of security.
