We recommend combining ½ day+ ½ day from the list below, because in any case the transfer back is at 18:30. The village has restaurants, sunbeds with a view on a lake and mountains behind it. 7 WINE TOURISM There are 3 main wine areas in Mendoza: Maipu, Lujan and Chacras de Coria. You can go biking in the wineries, if it s raining or cold go by bus! Or you can go by bus and then bike. There are tours for all budgets. The choice is yours. Make sure to check out a big winery 5 blocks away. Mr. Hugo Maipu 1 Day Winery Los Toneles 5 blcoks away. 1.5 hours Wineries by bus Half Day Maipu 1/2 Day Do it the cheapest way - on your own. Rent a bike and run through the wineries at your own pace. Visit to several wineries (up to 9) on a bike. A big and beautiful winery, with a lot of spaces, a private restaurant with decent prices and of cource great wine is only 15 minutes away A bus picks you up from the hostel and takes you to 2 wineries (One big and one organic) as well as to one olive oil place. Pick your 2-3 wineries from the map and do it the cheapest way - on your own. Sat. 7:00 am to 8:00 pm $300 CAÑON DEL ATUEL San Rafael Area Hot Springs and Spa: FULL DAY Cacheuta Hot Springs Cacheuta You go down to San Rafael area (243 km away) and visit a dam, a huge and colorful canyon below it, passing by a hydroelectric station. In the ned you have an option to do some rafting on the river, or just chill out in a restaurant while others do it. Natural thermal-water jacuzzis, sauna in natural thermalwater cave, the only one in Argentina. Finnish and Scottish showers. Do it the cheapest way - on your own. Take a bus at the bus terminal at around 10:00 AM (1 hour trip) and get you entrance ticket right there.
