She will assess the international student at the interview allowing for entrance at MSQ. Students will get great care from her and find her easy to talk to. Brendan Wong Trainer & Assessor Certificate IV in Therapy Practice, Diploma of Remedial Brendan has a lot of experience in teaching massage and working as a massage therapist for professional sports team such as, Gold Coast Titans (NRL) and Gold Coast Blaze (NBL). He is now a massage therapist coordinator at Titans. Dylan Whinnett Trainer & Assessor / Former Graduate Shiatsu I, Oriental Techniques Dylan is a former graduate from the Diploma of Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies at MSQ, and he is really interested in Oriental culture as well as Oriental therapies. Certificate IV in & Diploma of Aromatherapy Ilona Yasuda Trainer & Assessor / Former Graduate Ilona is a former graduate of MSQ. She is also a spa therapist. Therefore she has a lot of skills for relaxation massage. In addition, she is an interpreter and translator between English and Japanese. Jason Kronk Trainer & Assessor / Former Graduate Certificate IV in Therapy Practice や Diploma of Remedial Jason is a former graduate of MSQ and really gentle and looks after students very well. He is the resident remedial therapist owning and running his business as well. Jackie Renardson Student Administrator / Former Graduate Jackie is a former graduate of MSQ. She looks after Student Clinic and students attendance. She will also help when students have problems on student clinic. Kitty Fletcher Trainer & Assessor Certificate IV in & Diploma of Aromatherapy Kitty has over 20 years experience in Aromatherapy both learning and teaching in Australia, UK and Hong Kong. Therefore she is very knowledgeable teaching international students. Lymphatic Drainage, Pregnancy Masti Adler Trainer & Assessor Masti has a broad experience in Natural Therapy both learning and teaching, and has a lot of skills, such as Remedial, Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Yoga, Craniosacral Therapy and Gestalt Therapy. Matthew Walker Trainer & Assessor / Former Graduate Teaching Deep Tissue from Certificate IV in Therapy Practice Matthew is a former graduate of MSQ and was awarded the best student. He knows about human body very well! Tania Kent Student Administrator Tania has been at MSQ for 13 years. She is a veteran staff. She can manage many things, which are as an assistant for the Director, student contact officer and administrator. Veronica Mauri Trainer & Assessor / Course Coordinator Veronica administrates all students and ensures that MSQ is compliant in every aspect. She is a very important member of the operation and extremely resultoriented. She also teaches Practice Administration class of the Certificate IV in Therapy Practice. 6 3-4. Diploma of Remedial (CRICOS G / HLT 50307) This is MSQ s star course. This course is designed to integrate all methods of massage into a holistic approach to provide a comprehensive treatment plan based on the therapist s ability to determine the underlying cause of many musculoskeletal problems. To enter this course, students have to complete Certificate IV in Therapy Practice first. Diploma of Aromatherapy (CRICOS K / HLT 51407) With an emphasis on the use of essential oils, students in this course will gain skills in a wide variety of massage techniques for Spa treatment. For medical Aromatherapy, the chemistry of essential oils and the art of blending for specific treatments will be mastered. The course also offers specific treatment for different age groups including palliative care. 10 4-5. MSQ CANCELLATION POLICY Applicants must advise Schools of Queensland in writing of their intention to withdraw from a course and request for refund. PROCEDURE of PATHWAY a. Schools of Queensland cancels the course or the commencement of the course is postponed for more than four weeks, and alternative courses do not suit the applicant. b. Student produces evidence where the application made by the student for a visa was rejected by the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). c. For written cancellation received 3 or more weeks prior to commencement of a course d. The certificates issued are as follows: - Short Courses: Statement of Attendance Students can be provided with a Statement of Attainment. However, this is neither a degree nor a qualification. Therefore, they work as a NON-QUALIFIED therapist in Australia. That means they cannot obtain professional indemnity insurance. Students can get credit and deduction when they enter our Certificate IV or Diploma courses, if they pass assessment at the end of the courses. Start Upgrade Diploma immediately after completed Certificate IV or start 1 semester later Start Upgrade Diploma more than 2 semesters later No Enrolment, No Material fees Enrolment, material fees required Certificate IV Students are provided with a respected Certificate IV. They can work as a QUALIFIED therapist. With the Certificate IV, students can register as a full member with a National Association, obtain professional indemnity insurance and commence their own business as a Therapist PATHWAY PROGRAM with Southern Cross University (SCU) Students who complete our Diploma of Remedial can enter the Bachelor of Clinical Sciences at SCU without English proficiency assessment and also are able to gain up to 8 units advanced standing from SCU depending on the major. That means they can enter 2 nd year at the Bachelor of Clinical Sciences. Diploma Students qualify with a respected Diploma. They can work as a QUALIFIED Remedial therapist. They can obtain the insurance same as Certificate IV. Moreover, The Diploma will allow you to apply to private health funds for a provider number allowing clients to claim rebates.
