2 Details and functions of the BEE Certification website 1. As web designers, we are constantly challenged by new developments and a rapidly changing business environment in respect of the internet. Although we take pride in implementing the best technology when designing a website; it is our challenge and focus, to accurately portray the client s company image and business ethics through our web designs. 2. Design The website will be developed to help a website visitor, effectively navigate between website pages. The colour scheme, look & feel, and functionality of the website is based on research regarding internet user needs and behaviour and incorporated with the BEE Certification image. A clean, fresh and creative theme will be followed. 3. The website is designed to be crawled indexed by search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN as efficiently as possible, and to rank well on the search engine results pages for relevant keywords. 4. The BEE Certification Website will include the following pages: Home Company Profile Services Multiple Content Pages Contact Us 5. BEE Certification Website Features: - Content Management System (CMS) will be used to upload and manage website content and information. The client will be able to manage (add/delete) pages from a backend admin panel. - Membership function where visitors are able to join the free BEE Certification membership. Different membership levels can be created from the Admin Panel e.g. free and paid memberships. Only registered members will be able to login and view certain info on the website such as training material etc. - A newsletter subscription function will be integrated. The newsletter function will work together with the Membership function. Subscribed members will receive daily/weekly/monthly newsletters from BEE Certification. The client will manage the newsletter from the admin panel. The Aweber.com service will be used. 6. Additional Information: - Website will be hosted on BEEcertification.co.za - Basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) will be done free of charge. - Approx. 3 hours of training will be given free of charge. 7. MillionDesigns implement the necessary search engine optimization techniques to rank well for appropriate keywords on search engine results pages. (Search Engine Optimisation is an extensive process, which is not dealt with in full in this project outline. However, the basic op-page recommendations are discussed.) Page Titles: Page titles of all pages need to be written to appropriate and unique page titles in accordance to their relevant keywords.

3 Keywords: Focus the keywords of the homepage to the core company functions. Research and implement appropriate keywords for all other web pages. Page Descriptions: Evaluate the description to be in line with the main company business units and capabilities. The appropriate page descriptions for all web pages need to be in line with the page title and keywords, specific to each page. Alt Text: Images require alt text. This is for SEO purposes as well as visually impaired web visitors. Navigational Text Menu: It is advisable to include a text navigation menu with full hyperlinks in the footer of each page. In-Content Hyperlinks: Search Engines value the web copy or written content of web pages. In-content hyperlinks of keywords increase the relevance of such a web page on search engine result pages.

Prices are quoted on an hourly basis, MillionDesigns will therefore provide to additional consultation, development and integration based upon the hours allocated to for in this project outline.
