1 Oklahoma FY2015 AmeriCorps State & National Grant Coversheet Below is a breakdown of the funding being awarded to Oklahoma. The state competitive funding and state formula funding will be granted to the Oklahoma Community Service Commission, the governor-appointed State Service Commission. The Commission will, in turn, award grants to nonprofit organizations and/or public agencies responding to local needs across the state. These awards may be used to pay for college or vocational training or to pay back student loans. Through the state competitive grants alone, AmeriCorps members in Oklahoma are projected to earn $2,673,071 in Education Awards to support their pursuit of higher education.
