3 SUMMARY - INDEX GENERAL OBJECTIVES The creation of a workshop that becomes a generator focus of new opportunities for the leather industry through the encounter of brands and manufacturers, the joint analyse and evaluation of ideas, projects, information, new materials, components and technology. Altogether in a setting where innovation, experience and development allow the creation of an unique product. 4 TARGET GROUP Businessmen, partners and professionals from the leather industry, both national and international, with interests in Andalusia. 5 PROGRAM Two days immersion program into the leather sector, encounters B2B, sector and technological reports, workshops and joint work for the generation of news projects. 6 PARTNERS Agencia de Innovación y Desarrollo de Andalucía IDEA. 4 OBJETIVES Leather sector objective: - Promotion and encouragement of the innovation in the leather industry through the establishment of strategic partnerships. MOVEX objectives: - Market position as leader of innovation in the leather products sector. - Presentation of the new branches of services: materials and components rooms, manufacturing cell and samplers laboratory. 4

5 TARGET GROUP Target group: Group A - Sellers companies with own brands and potential to contract the manufacturers different services of leather goods and/or projects of co-branding. Both national and international. Group B - Leather Companies of Andalusia. Manufacturers specialized in leather accessories with attractive business structure and services to companies from Group A. Capacity to close partnership contracts and/or co-branding in case they are interested to launch a own brand. Group C - Agents, professionals, employees, students and all those interested in the leather industry. Groups A and B will attend to the joint of actions planned in the program. Registration period will be closed 15 days before the beginning of the program. The final list will be published that day. Group C will be able to attend the open door action in the second day of the program. The maximum number of persons taking part will be delimited by the capacity of the lecture hall. Presentation of the specialized workshops and the technological news in different phases: - Conceptualization and design. - Materials selection. Leather material: properties and typologies. Leather presentation, materials and components. New experimental room of materials in Foundation MOVEX. - Leather cut: manual, mechanic and industrial. - Dividing and finding the proper thickness. - Leather recess. The hem in leather. - The seam: thread universe. - Lujado. Luxury finish. - The Manufacture. Leather craftsman techniques and skills. - Customization. Differentiation keys. Techniques: engraving, screen-print, timbrado, laser. - Quality control. Continuous control. - Packing. The importance of a proper packing. From the basic to the enriched product.
