Students will learn digital video special effects including the incorporation of motion graphics, sound effects and transitions and compositing techniques to create a final professional level video. Integrating After Effects with Premiere, working with Premiere projects in After Effects, using Dynamic Link and non-destructive integration. Midterm Project planning and development; Compositing video, transparency masks, alpha channels, track mattes and keys (Color, Chroma, RGB Difference, Blue Screen, Non Red and Luma), and Advanced transitions. Advanced audio editing and mixing and extracting audio from source clips. Transcribing audio to text, searching for keywords and modifying metadata Integrating Photoshop with Premiere and importing Photoshop files as sequences.
