2 New Media Creating a Digital Region Digital Region, a groundbreaking project that will provide residents and businesses in South Yorkshire with unrivalled broadband infrastructure, has commissioned diva to plan and deliver ongoing communications services for this landmark project. Critical to the initial stages of the project, whilst the EU procurement of a business partner to deliver the broadband infrastructure is progressing, is stakeholder engagement. It is to ensure that regional policy makers and influencers are fully aware of the impact of Digital Region and how they can become more involved as the implementation stage progresses. diva's creative team, having developed a brand identify for Digital Region, have been engaged in delivering a number of Flash based presentations designed to communicate the key aspects of the project, whilst reflecting the dynamic nature of the use of new technologies. Commissioned as part of diva's work for Leeds Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Partnership, the sexual health website is designed for health professionals, with a wide range of information available including a directory of services, information on training, resources and latest news. The site, has been redesigned by diva's multimedia team to reflect the evolving brand identity of the Partnership. Appealing to a young audience After successful beginnings, the next stage of development for the interactive website for the South Yorkshire physical activity campaign was to come up with a funky sub-site to appeal to 8-19 year olds and encourage them to get off their computers and into the great outdoors. Using the branding they developed for the Street Sports equipment, the diva website team came up with modern computer-game style graphics, coupled with photography and easy to navigate tools for finding out about activities for young people.
3 Award winning website - third year in a row! diva s web design has earned national recognition for the third consecutive year, with two respected air quality publications (Air Quality Management and Air Quality Bulletin) awarding their highest accolades. is the campaign website for the air quality awareness campaign, care4air. The site that has been continuously updated and expanded throughout the campaign with three recently added new sections a young people's section including online games and quizzes, a professionals area and an events listing, where a wide range of events are detailed - appropriate to both professionals and the general public. Video podcast - how to eco-drive Highlighting the eco-driving initiative, whereby motorists are encouraged to drive in a eco-friendly way, a recent new download is a video podcast, a short video promoting tips to eco-driving can be downloaded onto a range of external devices, including a PDA and Blackberry. The podcast, which features footage demonstrating how to eco-drive accompanied by a voiceover, uses integrated graphics to clearly highlight the key tips to eco-drive. The podcast compliments an existing campaign, using pr, materials distribution and a dedicated web page. diva - dynamic flash website When undergoing a recent re-style, the diva website was further developed to showcase the company s abilty to produce a dynamic flash website which reflects the company s creative style whilst giving visitors extensive information about the company and how we work. A particular focus of the website is the 'divalicious live' page which uses animation to showcase the most up-to-date news from the diva team for when you just can't wait for the next copy of divalicious to land on your desk.

Raising the profile of Healthy Schools Building on diva's work within the health and education sectors, the team has worked with a number of Healthy Schools teams for the last few years. Recent commissions have involved a range of diva's services, from design through to public relations, website design and events coordination. Sheffield Healthy Schools Develop a comprehensive and coordinated marketing action plan Support annual celebration event (2006) Produce a major event in early 2007 Produce a range of literature Design and produce a CD Rom diva has been working with Sheffield Healthy Schools for over five years, during which time the company has worked with the team to produce a range of materials, deliver high profile events and provide a pr and media relations service. Nottinghamshire Healthy Schools Design and produce a comprehensive toolkit for widespread distribution throughout the county In response to the request to put together a toolkit for anyone involved in Healthy Schools in Nottinghamshire, diva's creative team produced a large ringbinder containing a vast range of information, from national policy through to practical information for schools around the key themes a record year for diva's events service! diva's events coordination and management service has steadily grown over the years, as new team members have joined the company and an increasing number of events have been produced is proving a challenging and exciting year, with a record number of events having been organized for a range of clients. Focusing on diva's key sectors, health, regeneration, environment and education, here is a snapshot of the types of events that the team's skills have been called upon to deliver. Aimhigher South Yorkshire - series of 15 events from training days to conferences National Association of Cytology - two day residential conference in York for 300 national delegates School Travel Plan event - aimed at young people, high profile event featuring Yorkshire BBC weatherman, Paul Hudson - attracted 120 young people Centre for Terrestrial Carbon Dynamics - two day international event in Edinburgh, including conference and social programme Leeds Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Strategy - one day event for 100 health professionals to address national issues and topics and share best practice A Clearer Future following on successful 2005 national conference, attracting 100 delegates for one day conference for professionals engaged in tackling issues around air quality and the environment Creating a Setting for Investment - landmark international event commissioned by South Yorkshire Forest Partnership. Two day event aimed at international delegates featuring conference, programme of social events and high profile speakers
5 Passionate about PR The diva PR team, Katy, Anita, Paul, Emma and Mel, have had more than one opportunity to show their passion for pr recently, as the Macdonald St. Paul's Hotel Sheffield asked the pr team to handle the communications around their appointment of Robert Craggs as Head of Catering. So far the work has allowed the pr team to secure a number of local and sector hits for the hotel, which has just launched the UK's Most Expensive Cocktail, an excellent Afternoon Tea service, and an innovative Yorkshire Tasting Plate. The new work for the Macdonald St. Paul's Hotel Sheffield demonstrates the PR team's ability to work for a range of clients from different sectors and to tailor-make the pr service provided to the needs of the client. Other clients that the pr team currently works with on an ongoing basis include: a number of teenage pregnancy and sexual health clients including the Centre for HIV and Sexual Health, Nottingham, Leeds and Derby Teenage Pregnancy Partnerships, amongst others. The pr team also handles the pr for Smoke Free Sheffield; air quality awareness campaign Care4Air; the Centre for Full Employment and Jobnet; next generation broadband project Digital Region; the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership, Sheffield Safer Communities Partnership; commercial development company Castlemore Securities Ltd; the Sheffield Stop Smoking Service; Norfolk Carshare and work-based learning provider STL. Katy Bodley, diva PR First National Social Marketing Conference held in Newcastle diva were invited to attend the National Social Marketing Centre's first national conference in September diva was one of a handful of exhibitors who were there to give delegates an insight into the application of social marketing principles through campaigns. diva has been working with the National Social Marketing Centre since its inception, and were recently highlighted as one of the UK's commercial sector agencies with the capacity to deliver Social Marketing (NSMC - Selective Review Report 2006). In June 2006, the National Consumer Council launched their 'It's our health!' summary report that offers findings and recommendations on those undertaking programmes and campaigns can improve their impact and effectiveness through using Social Marketing. "It's our health!' is a blue print for how social marketing can dramatically improve the impact of government health campaigns. It also sets clear recommendations for building positive relationships between the government, the private sector and charities to deliver improvements." 6 QuickUpdate Seventh Teenage Pregnancy client for PR Team Diva has added another Teenage Pregnancy client to their expanding list. The PR team will now be managing communications for the Warwickshire Teenage Pregnancy Partnership. Warwickshire are the latest teenage pregnancy client to call on diva's expertise, currently the pr team also manage accounts for Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire County, Leeds, Sheffield, Derby and Leicestershire. Call for more artwork for Parentline Plus After a successfull partnership the first time Parentline Plus asked diva to develop a concept and artwork for them, the national charity has called on diva again. The design team are currently working on a visual for a campaign to encourage dads to use Parentline Plus. Youth Justice Board After successfully designing report documents and DVD packaging for the Youth Justice Board.
