7 PERSONAL TRAINING FULL TIME FAST TRACK Our fast track course provides a recognised route to becoming a fully accredited personal trainer in just six weeks. Our qualifications will enable you to enter the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at Level 3 the highest entry level. The fast track course is an intensive six week programme, which can be completed at any of our academies across the country. Courses run from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday and include assignments to be completed in your own time. We offer career support with this course and can even guarantee you an interview with leading UK health clubs. See page 18 for more information. 9 PERSONAL TRAINING PART TIME LEARNING Our part time course offers you the opportunity to train around your existing commitments. COURSE FORMAT 14 days of practical training and assessments (seven weekend-long workshops) supported by home study, using our downloadable e-resources Once Level 2 Qualified, you will be eligible to train for certificated Gym Based Boxing, MRCT, Studio Cycling and Advanced Nutrition Strategies at our fast track academies (week days) Our promise to support you as fully as we can means you ll be assigned a dedicated course tutor during your training, who you can contact at any time for help, guidance and advice We offer career support with this course and will guarantee you an interview with one of our leading health club partners. COURSE GUIDANCE NOTES Students are required to complete a set of pre-course learning which they will receive upon confirmation of placement on the course is received Students are required to attend seven weekend-long workshops (9am to 4.30pm Saturday and Sunday) during their training Workshops are generally practical but do cover some theory and assessment-based work. Students will receive full details of each workshop in advance The majority of theory work takes place at home. Students should use the available online study manuals and revision tools. Full guidance is available from tutors If you are unable to attend a workshop date during the course you will have to defer your learning to our E-learning platform, where completion of the course will depend on homelearning with full support from one of our E-learning tutors. 11 PERSONAL TRAINING E-LEARNING PLUS Unlike other distance learning providers, our Home Learning Academy e-learning system supports you from the moment you enrol on a course, right up until the day you secure your first job in the industry. Working at your own pace to complete each module, you ll complete every unit with the support of our expert tutors and our specially developed, downloadable learning tools. You ll even receive a notification as soon as your assessment marks are in. On average, this course takes three to six months to complete, but we understand that everyone is different. You can work at the pace you want, scheduling work around other commitments.
