1 Date: 14 September 2015 allsure changes effective September 2015 Changes and enhancements have been made to the Personal Lines products in South Africa and Namibia. These changes will be effective from 14 September 2015 for quotations and new business and from 1 December 2015 for renewals on existing business. The Product changes have resulted in some system screen changes. The system changes are noted below for ease of reference. ITC Screen Changes: For any new quote or new business, ITC is mandatory and the question defaults to YES. In an effort to improve the flow of the system, we have moved the Complete Credit Check button from next to the ITC YES/NO indicator on the Personal Information tab to reflect below the line next to the Create Quote button and is available when clicking any of the tabs on the Personal Client details screen. See screenshot below: Coupled with this change, the ITC check button will be greyed out until such time a risk address has been added. Please also refer to the message which displays on the screen. 2 2 As indicated, once a risk address is added, the Complete Credit Check button is enabled, see screen print below: Once the user clicks the Complete Credit Check button, the following message will display: Risk Address Security Change: We have amended the functionality when a user answers YES to the question pertaining to an alarm system and a new question has been included if a discount should be applied. The following rules apply : If the user selects YES to the question Does your home have an alarm system linked to 24 hour armed response? the system will enable the drop down list of alarm companies which will need to be selected, see screen shot below as an example:
3 3 If the user selects an option from the drop down list of values, the question Should an alarm discount be applied? will default to YES and be greyed out. If the user selects Approved Alarm, the field to capture the providers name is enabled and is mandatory. The discount question now becomes enabled and the user can select whether a discount should apply or not. If the user selects Other, the user will still be required to capture the Service Providers name, however the discount question will default to No and be disabled. Section and Screen Changes: It is important to note that with mf online, the screens may not be versioned with the result that certain questions may appear on new quotes and existing business, whether that information is required or not. In most instances the system will validate and indicate this information to the user. The differences are explained below: House-owners section Accidental damage to fixed machinery used in a private home is now standard cover. Household Goods section The Accidental Damage extension is now automatically included for an amount of R Optional cover is granted for higher limits of R25 000, R50 000, R and R and can be selected at an additional premium.
4 4 Motor section Car hire is included for vehicles covered for Balance of Third Party, Fire and Theft. When selecting this cover, the field is enabled: Keys and locks extension has now been included with automatic cover of R on comprehensive cover only. A new field, Additional locks and keys required? has been created to select limits higher than the standard cover of R The automatic limit of R reflects as a zero in the dropdown list. Higher limits of R15 000, R and R can be selected at an additional premium. Tractors and Golf Carts are excluded. If the user selects Additional Locks and Keys cover for Tractors and Golf Carts, the system will display the message noted below. This message will also display if an invalid value is chosen for TPFT and TP cover.
5 5 Vehicle usage in a neighboring country A new question has been added, for comprehensive cover only, asking if the vehicle is used for more than three days in a neighboring country. Tractors and Golf Carts are excluded. If the user selects YES for Golf Carts or Tractors, the system will display the following message: Motorcycle accessories With the allsure upgrade, we have now included a new tab on the motorcycle section for the users to capture accessories. Whilst these fields are displayed on existing business, this cover will only be available on new business from 14 September 2015 and renewals from 1 December The functionality is similar to the motor section, however the user will need to capture each accessory separately and add a value as required. To delete an item, click the red (X). Quote Premiums Previously, adjustments to rating tables caused problems with the premiums on quotes changing after the new rates were implemented. There is now new functionality which will not change the quoted premiums when a quote is converted to a policy after the implementation of the new rating structure. Please note that this will only apply if the quote has not yet expired. Letters We are pleased to advise that we have implemented two system letters which users can complete online. The two letters are: Border Confirmation Letter Cover Confirmation Letter Set out hereunder is a step-by-step guide on how to complete these letters and the specific rules applicable: On the main menu, a new Letters menu option will be displayed
6 When clicking on the menu option, the following sub menu will display 6 There are two letters that can be selected. For this example, the Border Confirmation letter is selected. When the user clicks on the required option, the following screen will display The user will need to search for the policy details. Please note that this letter applies to motor only. Once the user captures the policy number and clicks the search button, the system will return the active motor items for the respective policy only, as indicated below The user can now select the item required by clicking on the Make. The page will refresh, display the vehicle details and open new fields which need to be completed to generate the letter Capture the required information and click Create Letter. If the user clicks Close Screen, the letter will not be generated and the user will be required to re-start the process.
7 7 NB The system will not automatically the letter to the address captured, this is for information purposes only. When the user clicks the Create Letter button, the system will create the letter and navigate to the Transaction Confirmation screen The user can now capture the details and click OK. The system will the letter and the documents will be stored on the policy. The user can retrieve a copy of the letter, if required, at a later stageby accessing the policy and clicking on the View Schedules and Documents tab under the Additional Information area on the policy summary screen. Specific Business Rules applicable to this functionality : Letters can be generated on Personal Business only Letters can only be created on Active Policies Letters may not be created on Quotes Letters may not be back dated Letters may only be forward dated and the end date may not be more than 30 days from the process date.
8 8 In an effort to assist Broker users with system functionality, we have also included a new training system. The system is administered by our Learning & Development Department and users will need to apply for access to this system. The following step-by-step guide will assist users with accessand how to navigate accordingly. Once the user has logged onto mf online, the users will see the Learning & Development tab on the left hand menu When the user clicks on the tab, the following screen will open:
9 If the user does not have login details, they can click the hyperlink as indicated below: 9 When the user clicks this link, the following screen will open and the user will be able to capture their details and click signup. A request will be sent to our Learning & Development Department to create the access. Once the application has been submitted, the system will display the following message
10 10 Once access has been granted the user can then capture their details and click on Login. The system will navigate to the learning options available. Access will be granted to the Broker Academy only. The system will display the below screen, click on Broker Academy The user will now be presented with 2 options, as indicated below If the user selects the system will navigate to the training material available.
11 Click on the (+) next to System and the following sub-menu will open 11 Select mf online for Brokers Personal Clients and the following screen will open NB If the programme does not open immediatly, wait a few minutes and click the F5 button on your keyboard to refresh the page. Follow the information on the screen to complete the learnings. To begin click on Click to Start. The next screen will explain to the user exactly how to navigate through the training programme.

On the main menu, a new Send Mail option is displayed When the user clicks this option, the following screen opens
14 14 Complete the details as required and click on the Submit button. The system will send the to the M&F staff member. As this function is on a separate window, the user can continue working on mf online without having to cancel any transactions being processed.
