2 t On The Move t City Newsletter The Good Landlord: Crime Free Multi-Housing Program Overview To address the crime problems in rental properties requires a unique coalition of landlords, their employees, residents, and the police, says Police Chief Chris Snyder. The most effective way to deal with any illegal activity in rental property is through a coordinated effort. In early 2007, the Police Department recognized problem apartments/complexes are causing a continual drain on city resources due to repetitive calls for service. Later that year the city s Good Landlord Ordinance was adopted.
