It sits on the sand and has two floors, with the upper reserved for owners/guests and the lower occupied by the resident caretakers. The 2nd floor has cathedral ceilings. There is one large bedroom with a queen bed, one bathroom, and a spectacular, open shower/tub with views of the Caribbean Sea and Maya Mountains. The open areas include a full kitchen with complete cooking/serving products including blender, juicer, toaster, microwave, etc. The family room has a queen size sofa bed, 2-seat couch and occasional tables. There is an ipod music station. The seaside deck has a wet bar, hammock, dining table with chairs and chaise lounges. Above the deck is a large, rooftop patio with soaking tub and fabulous views. There is a two-person kayak and two bicycles. The home is on the Placencia Peninsula in the Stann Creek District of Belize, about 10 miles north of the Village of Placencia. There are many dining choices ranging from world class restaurants to local pubs. Attractions include Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, fishing, diving, snorkeling, hiking, waterfalls, and bird watching (Belize has more varieties than any other country in the world).
