3 Welcome to College of Pharmacy at Chungnam National University Chang Seon Myung, Ph.D. Dean College of Pharmacy Chungnam National University Since its establishment in 1979, the College of Pharmacy at Chungnam National University has made profound contributionto the society through education and research. It has produced more than 1,164 graduates with bachelor s degree and 619graduates with master or Ph.D. degree, who have been playing important roles in both academic and industrial fields for oursociety. The six year- program designed to put more emphasis on education for basic pharmacology, clinical andpractical training was launched in Since then, faculties of our college have made restless efforts to provide students withall the resources they need to adapt to the new program comfortably and to achieve the educational goals. As a result, thecollege of Pharmacy at CNU is ready to produce first graduates of the six year program in 2015 with pride and satisfaction. Our college also operates a highly reputed graduate program. Recently, the College of Pharmacy has been awarded with thebk21 Plus program administered by Korean Ministry of Education for the purpose of strengthening domestic graduate programs.in addition, Institute of Drug and Development was recognized as a Priority Center supported by National Foundation. It is also worth noting that our college was rated by JoongAng-Ilbo, one of leading Korean newspapers,as one of the best schools in the nation based on its quality of research and publication records. Thanks to sucha reputation, many students from a number of different asian countries including China, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Mongol andmalaysia come to our college to work with our renowned faculties. 12 7. How to get College of Pharmacy at CNU from ICN airport Step 1. Find the Bus stop 9D outside of the airport. Step 2. You can buy Ticket near the 9D bus stop. Just tell to ticket officer Daejeon, 1 person Step 3. The bus to the Daejeon (Korean: 대전) stops 3 times in Daejeon area, You should get off the bus when bus arrived at Daejeon Government Complex or in Korean Jeong-Bu-Cheong-Sa. Estimated time consuming will be around 2:30 from Incheon Airport to Daejeon. Most taxi drivers can understand English. Step 4. Take a taxi or a bus(#104,108,706) to CNU.
