7 STUDENT PARKING CONTRACTS FACULTY/STAFF PARKING If you have a car o campus more tha three days a week, you should cosider purchasig a parkig cotract. Studet Semester Parkig Cotract 24-hour studet parkig cotracts are available each semester through a olie lottery at Cotract beefits iclude: Guarateed parkig (facility may chage o football Saturdays or Sudays) Easy paymet through studet accouts receivable (SAR) Eterig the lottery does ot esure a parkig cotract i a requested facility. UNIVERSITY OF MINNESOTA MEDICAL CENTER EMPLOYEES Cotract parkig for UMMC staff is available from the hospital parkig departmet. Call for further iformatio. Departmetal Services Prepaid ad Departmetal Coupos Charge guest parkig to your departmet by usig a prepaid coupo. Oe coupo is valid for parkig for up to 4 hours. The other coupo covers a idividual s parkig for up to 24 hours. Departmets with high use ca receive departmetal coupos ad be billed mothly for actual time used. 8 DISABILITY SERVICES FLEET SERVICES Several programs exist to assist with access arragemets for idividuals. Disability Parkig Most parkig facilities have desigated disability parkig spaces available at the posted rate. A state-issued disability permit or licese plate is required to use these spaces. Patros with stateissued permits may park free at campus meters ad at some desigated o-street locatios for a maximum of three hours. The three-hour time limit at o-street locatios is ot eforced after 4:30 p.m. o weekdays to allow for ight class use. To apply for a disability permit, call the State of Miesota at Paratrasit Service Uiversity Paratrasit is a specialized curb-to-curb, o-campus trasportatio service provided free of charge to persos with short or log term physical disabilities. The service operates year roud, Moday Friday, 7:30 a.m. 9:30 p.m. (ot o official Uiversity holidays). The last ride available is 9:30 p.m. Rides ca be scheduled olie at z.um.edu/paratrasit or by phoe at Rides may be scheduled up to two weeks i advace. Metro Mobility Door-to-door service is available by reservatio for certified riders uable to use the regular fixed-route bus due to a disability or health coditio. If you eed extra help boardig a bus (eve if you are ot i a wheelchair), feel free to ask the driver to use the lift. Full-Service Maiteace Shop Prevetive maiteace is critical to the lifespa ad operatio of a vehicle, so fleet provides full service o all leased ad reted vehicles.
