3 The Insolvency Report System provides information about companies which currently, or in the past, have undergone a period of insolvency. The database contains three different search types by which these records can be attained. The first search type is the Insolvency Browse search. This search allows the user to retrieve records which pertain to certain search criteria. This function is useful when a specific set of data is needed. The second search type is the Insolvency Listing search. The Insolvency Listing search returns all records from within a certain date period or week ending. This search isn't as specific as the Insolvency Browse but provides all records for a period of time. Lastly, the Insolvency Report System provides a PDF Reports search. This search allows the user to search using a date period, and then display the results in PDF format. Accessing ABR Log in: Click either Subscriber Access or Login to access the Insolvencey System. 3

4 Log in: Enter your User Name & Password to continue. To locate the, select ABR Credit Information Services. 4

5 Select from the menu. Select the type of search you require. 5

6 Insolvency Browse Enter the required data and select, Search to continue. This icon will provide you with more information on what each field requires. Search options include Starts With, Exact Match and Contains 6

7 Results Admin Type: Will provide more information on the administration. Company Extract: The selected company information will be transferred to the ASIC & Business Names Database to perform a Company Search. 7

8 Admin Type The document number is hyperlinked to the ASIC & Business Names Database to obtain a copy of the document. 8

9 The company ACN will populate through and display a listing of documents lodged with the ASIC. You can request the document by clicking the document number. This will take you to ABR's Document request screen. The document number & page range will populate through. Complete the reference/matter fields and 'Send Request' 9

10 Company Extract Select what type of extract and complete the reference/matter fields. Click 'Search' to continue. Note: A Historical search will also provide any current details. 10

11 Insolvency Listing Enter the required data and select, Search to continue. This icon will provide you with more information on what each field requires. 11

12 Results You can request the Company extract through the hyperlinks available. This will transfer the data through to the ASIC & Business Names Database to perform a company search. 12

13 Insolvency PDF Reports Enter the required data and select, Search to continue. This icon will provide you with more information on what each field requires. 13

14 Results To view the reports use the hyperlink. There may be several pages available. 14
