2 Welcome to the 2015 edition of Le.Le Learning Leadership Our special focus this year will be on learning for and from the future Here you can find some contents and practical details about the training course you will be attending. 3 The seminar starts on Sunday 10 th May at 19:00. We suggest that you arrive in Dinard already on the Sunday afternoon at the latest in order to start dinner on time. We will finish the seminar on Friday 15 th May with dinner. You can leave in Dates the Saturday morning before 11:00 AM either to take a flight/train back home or to enjoy a weekend in Brittany. You will be welcomed in the afternoon from 17h. The trainers will meet you there to show you the rooms and you will share dinner together. You will be hosted in an old castle on a rock facing Saint Malo with easy access to the beach and the woods around, few minutes away from the city Venue centre. You will be hosted in single-rooms with shower and toilettes. The venue offers you Wi-Fi free of charge. You can see in our website some pictures of how we have used the venue for learning

5 discovering the cutting edge leadership theories for social transformation such Theory U, Appreciative Leadership and Adaptive Leadership exploring the connection between leadership and learning as generative engines for self and organisational development; looking at how limiting beliefs can boycott the individual attitude towards Le.Le. is about learning and on how empowering beliefs can resource the individual in his/her quest for inner creativity for leadership; assessing your individual leadership and learning profile; identifying your key questions to address your quest for learning leadership as an ongoing non linear process; going out of your comfort zone to unleash the generative power of creating rapport with the others and to afford the experience of unlearning; learning about and experiencing balancing inner and outer energies as leadership resources.

6 The course provides an opportunity for assessing the individual leadership and learning profile through an analysis of past experiences and their impact on your views to learning and leadership. It also offers a coached experience of going out of the comfort zone to unleash the generative power of creating rapport with the others and to afford the experience of unlearning. Approach The adaptive leadership and appreciative leadership models provide the framework for experiencing and learning key tools such as holding meaningful conversations, decision making processes, asking powerful questions, active listening and story telling. The course consists of a mix of short theoretical inputs, concrete exercises, group discussions and solo moments. We believe that the best way to learn leadership is through having real experiences and enough reflecting time to get new insights and find ways to apply it to the everyday work.

7 Dinard has its own airport hosting Ryanair flights to and from the UK, hub for many other European destinations. Worth to check How to get to the venue Other airports are Paris (Charles de Gaulle or Orly) or Rennes. From there you need to take trains to St Malo (it is around 4-5 h from Paris and 2 h from Rennes with few changes). We advise you to look at the airport websites as well as railways website as connections and timetable may change. From Saint Malo there is a coach to Dinard (Ligne 16) and then the local bus to the stop Port Blanc, just near the thalassotherapy centre. The Chateau Hébert is just behind. 8 The Erasmus+ grant can cover the following: accommodation and full board (7 days = 686 euros) and the seminar fees (5 days = 350 euros). We have Finances arranged accommodation from Sunday 10th of May until Saturday 15th of May for you. The meals included start from diner on the 10 th of May until breakfast on 15 th of May. If you arrive earlier or stay longer please arrange for your own accommodation and food. Participation is confirmed upon receipt of payment. Preparation The detailed Programme will be sent to you after confirming your participation. With the same mail we will send you some pre-reading material.

10 Liz Smith Paola Bortini Lydie Guégan 15 years experience in the voluntary sector, most of which were with a worldwide organization. Holds a Diploma in psychology & a MSc. in Life Course Development, areas of interest & expertise in relation to Leadership Development include mentoring & coaching, diversity, facilitation skills & the development of young people. Over 15 years experience of working with international NGOs and European institutions; holds a MA in European Comparative Social Studies; expertise and interest around Leadership and Learning with special focus on Learning to Learn and Theory U; done research on Intercultural Competence, Well-being and gamification for Activating Learning. Certified Coach Approach, AromaTouch and Mindfulness. 18 years experience in the linguistic, youth, cultural and intercultural sectors. Holds a master degree in programme s conceptualizing, audit, training teachers and youth workers. 6 years experience in spirituality development directed towards developing self leadership and groups management. info@alp-network.org
