Seabury is known nationally for its innovative programs and forward thinking wellness philosophy. Our nationally certified Fitness and Wellness Specialists lead participants through a progressive program consisting of exercises that focus on muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, agility and balance. Our college level courses which are brought to us through the Adult Learning Program (ALP), an affiliate of the University of Connecticut and Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel), offer many intellectual opportunities. The variety and intensity of the courses brings us active and dynamic participants. The social, emotional, vocational, and spiritual dimensions of our Circle of Wellness are integrated through our monthly calendar, with many events that bring our friendly community together to share in working through committees to create a better and more fulfilling place to live.
