Our Navitrace OrangeBox has a third micro-processor that specifically controls a motion detector and manages the sleepmode of your Navitrace OrangeBox, so you can save communication costs and battery power in a clever way. Our Navitrace OrangeBox has a powerful, intelligent and state-of-the art GPS-receiver (SIRF-3, the best of the world), but also has a connection for an antenna just in case (should certain parts of your car would block the signal, for instance). The Navitrace OrangeBox runs on your car s battery, but should it become disconnected (maintenance, theft ) then it will automatically switch to its internal battery. So even with a dead battery when being towed, for instance you ll still be able to track and trace. And that s not all.
