1 Sources of Funding Introduction Curious Minds is a charity that works to improve children's and young people's lives by increasing opportunities for their active participation in arts, culture and creative learning. As the Bridge Organisation for the North West of England, we are part of a national network of 10 Bridge Organisations funded by Arts Council England to use our experience and expertise to connect children and young people, schools and communities with art and culture. This resource lists some of the main sources of funding for work with children and young people in the UK. The funding sources are often not specifically about arts and cultural work, but if a need is identified for the young people you work with, creative activity can be the way in which you meet that need. As information can change, contact the organisation direct and check their details before applying for funding. Unfortunately we cannot tell you in detail about the criteria for the organisations listed here or recommend which organisations to approach. We cannot be held responsible for information that changes after we have published this resource.
