The icon overlays help you quickly determine if a file or folder is shared or synced with Barracuda Copy. Overlay File and Folder Status The Barracuda Copy crane overlay displays on your Barracuda Copy home folder. All objects in this folder are continuously in sync with the Barracuda Copy cloud. The company overlay displays on your Barracuda Copy Company home folder. The loading bar overlay displays on a file that is currtly being synced with Barracuda Copy. An empty loading bar displays on a file hat is ready to be synced but has not yet started transferring. The synching contts overlay displays on folders that contains files that are currtly being synced with Barracuda Copy. The dot overlay displays on folders and files that are synced to Barracuda Copy. The shared overlay displays on folders that are shared. 7

8 How to Configure Interface Notifications and Network Settings The Barracuda Copy desktop app displays notifications to let you know wh changes are made to your files. It also displays icon overlays to let you know if files and folders are synced with Barracuda Copy. Additional network settings can be applied to allow connections through a proxy server and able bandwidth limits for syncing your files with the Barracuda Copy cloud. You can configure these settings in the Barracuda Copy app preferces. Configure Notification and Icon Overlay Settings 5. While you are logged into Barracuda Copy, right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and select Preferces. Select Interface. To specify where Barracuda Copy notifications appear on your desktop, click a corner of the desktop image displayed next to Notificatio ns. To disable notifications, clear the Show sync notifications check box. To disable icon overlays, clear the Enable icon overlays check box. Configure Network Settings While you are logged into Barracuda Copy, right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray and select Preferces. Select Network. In the Bandwidth Limit section, you can adjust the rate for data uploads and downloads. If your computer uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet: a. b. Click Configure next to Proxy. From the Proxy type list, select your proxy type. If you are not sure about what proxy type your system is using, select Auto Detect. c. In the Server field, ter the server name, IP address, and network port. d. If your proxy server requires authtication, select the Proxy server requires a password check box and th provide your username and password. e. Click Save to finish proxy configuration. Configure Local Peer Syncing To conserve your Internet bandwidth, you can use local peer syncing to synchronize your data betwe computers that are on the same network and are connected to the same Barracuda Copy account. Files are synced from one computer to another without having to transfer data from the Barracuda Copy cloud. Manage Your Account To manage your account, you can: Reset or Change Your Password Manage Addresses to Accept Shared Items Upload an Avatar Delete Your Barracuda Copy Account View Storage Limit and Usage Purchase More Storage or Update Billing Settings Reset or Change Your Password You can reset your Barracuda Copy account password through the Barracuda Copy website, desktop app, or ios device app. However, these steps do not apply if your login credtials are set up using LDAP authtication. To reset your Barracuda Copy account password on the Barracuda Copy website: In the left pane, click your account name and th click Manage. Click Your Profile, and ter your currt and new passwords, and th click Change. With the Barracuda Copy Desktop App 8

Manage Addresses to Accept Shared Items In your Barracuda Copy account settings, you can only configure additional addresses at which you can accept shared items. Currtly, users cannot change their own primary address. Task Change the Primary Address Add a Secondary Address Steps Contact Barracuda Copy Support to change your primary address. Currtly, users cannot change their own primary address. To add an additional address: 5. Log in to the Barracuda Copy website. In the left pane, click your account name, and th click Manage. Click Your Profile, and click Add Alternate . Enter the secondary address, and th click Add. Click Verify to the right of the address; an is st to the tered address with instructions on how to verify the account. Remove a Secondary Address To remove an additional address: Log in to the Barracuda Copy website. In the left pane, click your account name, and th click Manage. Click the Delete ( ) icon to the right of the secondary address, and th click Remove. Upload an Avatar To personalize your Barracuda Copy account, you can upload a custom avatar image from Gravatar. Sign up at Gravatar, and upload your favorite image. Log in to the Barracuda Copy website to access your account. 9

10 In the left pane, click your account name, and th click Manage. Click Your Profile, and click on the image to link your Gravatar image to Barracuda Copy. Delete Your Barracuda Copy Account If you want to delete your account: Log in to the Barracuda Copy website. In the left pane, click your account name, and th click Manage. Click Account, and th click Please Cancel My Account Enter your account password, and th click Remove. View Storage Limit and Usage To view your currt Barracuda Copy storage limit and usage: Log in to the Barracuda Copy website to access your account. In the left pane, click your account name and th click Account. Purchase More Storage or Update Billing Settings If you want to purchase more Barracuda Copy storage: Log in to the Barracuda Copy website to access your account. In the left pane, click your account name and th click Account. Click Update Billing Settings. Choose the amount of Barracuda Copy cloud storage that you want to purchase, select a billing option (monthly or annually), and add your paymt information. 5. Click Review your purchase to complete your purchase. Upload, Download, and Organize Files With the Barracuda Copy website and apps, you can access your files from anywhere. If a file type is supported by your mobile device OS, you can also view the file directly on your device. Most image, audio, video, and documt (such as PDFs and Word docs) files are supported. On your Android devices, you can also able the PhotoCopy feature to automatically upload any photos that you take. To upload files that are larger than 1 GB, it is recommded that you use the Barracuda Copy app on your desktop. Barracuda Copy on the Web Click here to see instructions for using Copy on the Web... On the Barracuda Copy website, you can upload, download, create, rame, and delete files and folders. Upload Files Go to the folder that you want to upload files to. In the upper right, click the upload icon ( ). In the file browser, locate and select the files that you want to upload. To upload multiple files, press Ctrl and select all files that you want to upload. Click Op to upload the files. Download Files and Folders Go to the folder or file that you want to download. In the upper right, click the download icon ( name as the folder. ). If you are downloading a folder, it is compressed into a ZIP file that has the same 10

11 Create New Folders Go to the location where you want to create a folder. In the upper right, click the new folder icon ( ). Enter the new name, and th click Save. Rame Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to rame. Right-click it, and th select Rame <name>. Enter a name for the new folder and click Save. Delete Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to delete. Right-click it, and th select Delete <name>. Wh prompted, click Delete to confirm that you want to remove the file or folder. Barracuda Copy on your Desktop Click here to see instructions for using Copy on your desktop... With the Barracuda Copy desktop app, changes that you make to the files in the Barracuda Copy home folder on your desktop are synced to the Barracuda Copy cloud. With shortcuts and aliases, you can ev sync folders that are outside of your Barracuda Copy home folder. From the desktop app, you can select which files and folders to sync with the Barracuda Copy cloud, move your Barracuda Copy home folder, and recover deleted files or folders. Move the Barracuda Copy Home Folder Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Account, and th click Move My Copy Folder. Go to where you would like your Barracuda Copy folder to reside, and click Select Folder. Your Barracuda Copy home folder and all of its contt is moved to the new location. Select Files and Folders to Synchronize 5. Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Account, and th click Manage My Files. Click the My Files tab. Select the files and folders that you want to sync from the Barracuda Copy cloud to your computer and click Save. If you want to keep local copies of the files and folders that you did not choose to sync with the Barracuda Copy cloud, clear the Rem ove local copy check box. Synchronize Folders Outside of the Barracuda Copy Home Folder To sync folders that are outside of your Barracuda Copy home folder, you can use symbolic links, aliases (OS X), or shortcuts (Windows). For symbolic links, create a link betwe the folder that you want to sync and your Barracuda Copy home folder. Barracuda Copy follows the path in your link to the folder that you want to sync. For aliases and shortcuts to the folder that you want to sync, create them in your Barracuda Copy home folder. Barracuda Copy follows the path in your alias or shortcut to the folder that you want to sync. Recover Deleted Files Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Account, and th click Manage My Files. Click the Undelete tab. Select all the files and folders that you want to restore from the Barracuda Copy cloud, and th click Save. 12 With Barracuda Copy for Android, you can upload, download, create, rame, move, and delete files and folders. You can also able Photocopy to automatically upload the photos that you take on your Android device. Upload Files Go to the folder that you want to upload files to. Tap the upload icon ( ). Tap the files that you want to upload, and th tap UPLOAD. Download Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to download. Next to the file or folder name, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Download. The file or folder is downloaded to the Download f older of your device. You can also op it from the Transfers folder in the Barracuda Copy app. If you want to select the download destination, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Download to. Mark Files as Favorite/Make Files Available Offline Go to the file that you want to make available offline. Next to the file name, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Mark Favorite. The file is downloaded to your device to make it available if not connected to the Internet and added to the list of favorites. To unmark files, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Remove Favorite. To view files marked as favorites, op the Barracuda Copy mu in the upper left of the app and tap Favorites. Create New Folders Go to the location where you want to create a folder. Press the mu button ( ), and th tap New Folder. Enter the name for the folder, and th tap Ok. Rame Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to rame. Next to the file or folder, tap the options icon ( Enter the new name, and th tap Ok. ) and th tap Rame. Move Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to move. Next to the file or folder, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Move. Go to the new location, and th tap Choose this Folder. Enable PhotoCopy On the home scre, tap the options icon ( ). Tap Settings, and th select the Enable PhotoCopy check box. In your list of folders, a folder named PhotoCopy appears. Photos that you take on your Android device are automatically uploaded into this folder. If you want PhotoCopy to only upload your photos over Wi-Fi, select the Wifi Only check box. Delete Files and Folders Go to the file or folder that you want to delete. Next to the file or folder, tap the options icon ( ) and th tap Delete. Wh prompted, tap Ok to confirm that you want to delete the file or folder. Barracuda Copy for ios 12

13 Click here to see instructions for using Copy on ios... With Barracuda Copy for ios, you can upload, create, rame, move, and delete files and folders. For photos, you can also save them to your Photo Library or copy them to the clipboard for use in another app. Upload Files Go to the folder that you want to upload files to. Tap the plus sign ( ), and th tap Upload Here. Select the files that you want to upload, and th tap Upload. Save or Copy Photos Op the photo. To save the photo to your Photo Library, tap the download icon ( ) and choose Save to Photo Library. To copy the image to the clipboard, tap the download icon ( ) and choose Copy Image to Clipboard. Create New Folders Go to the location where you want to create a folder. In the lower left, tap the plus sign ( ) and th tap Create New Folder. Enter a name for the new folder and tap Create. Rame Files and Folders Op the file or folder. Tap the info icon ( ). On the Info scre, tap Edit Name. Enter the new name, and th tap Rame. Move Files and Folders Go to the file or folder. Tap the options icon ( ). Select the files and folders that you want to move, and th tap Move. Go to the new location for the selected files and folders, and th tap Move here. Delete Files and Folders Go to the file or folder. Tap the options icon ( ). Select the files and folders that you want to delete, and th tap Delete. Wh prompted, tap Delete to confirm that you want to delete the file or folder. Barracuda Copy for Windows Mobile Devices Click here to see instructions for using Copy on Windows mobile devices... With Barracuda Copy for Windows, you can upload, create, rame, and delete files and folders. Upload Files Go to the folder that you want to upload files to. Tap More ( ), and th tap upload. Browse to and tap the file that you want to upload. Create New Folders Go to the location where you want to create a folder. Tap More ( ), and th tap new folder. Enter a name for the new folder, and th tap create folder. Rame Files and Folders 13

14 Tap and hold the file or folder. Tap Rame. Enter the new name, and th tap rame. Delete Files and Folders Tap and hold the file or folder. Tap Delete. Wh prompted, tap ok to confirm that you want to delete the file or folder. Share Files and Folders With the Barracuda Copy website, desktop applications, and mobile device applications, you can share your files and folders either publicly or securely: Publicly Files and folders are accessible to anyone with the URL. Securely Files and folders are accessible by invitation only. Share members are required to verify their address. Recipits do not have to have a Barracuda Copy account to access shared files and folders. On the Barracuda Copy website and certain mobile devices, you can also set permissions for each share member that state whether they can edit or sync to the shared contt. Barracuda Copy on the Web Click here to see instructions for using Copy on the Web... On the Barracuda Copy website, you can share files, as well as edit share settings and permissions. Publicly Share Files Go to the file or folder that you want to share. Click the share icon ( ). You can either use the provided URL to share your contt or directly share contt through your favorite social network. Securely Share Files Go to the file or folder that you want to share. Click the share icon ( ). Click the Make it Secure link to able secure sharing, and th click Make Secure to confirm. In the Secure Sharing window: a. b. c. Enter the address, user, or group that you want to share the files with. You can also add a message. Select one of the following permissions for the people that you are sharing the contt with: Can Edit & Sync Lets share member edit shared files and sync them with their Barracuda Copy account. View Only Only l ets share member view and download files. Can Manage Lets share member edit shared files and sync them with their Barracuda Copy account. Also lets share member invite others to the shared files. Click Sd Link. Edit Share Settings and Permissions To view and edit the permissions for shared files Go to the share file or folder. Right-click it and select Details. The sharing settings and permissions for the contt appears. To change whether the files are shared publicly or privately, click Change Settings in the SHARING SETTINGS section. To change the permissions for a share member, click Permissions next to the member's name in the INVITED MEMBERS section. View Files Shared with You 14

15 To see all files and folders that are currtly shared with you, log in to the Barracuda Copy website and click Shared with Me in your personal or company section. Barracuda Copy on your Desktop Click here to see instructions for using Copy on your desktop... With Barracuda Copy on the desktop, you can share contt, as well as set share settings and permissions. You can also unshare contt, remove yourself from shared folders, and accept or decline share invitations. Publicly Share Files To publicly share contt, you can either its URL or copy its URL for sharing. Go to the file or folder that you want to share. To the contt URL: a. b. Right-click it and select Copy Actions > Sd Public Link. In the Create public link window, ter the addresses of the people that you want to share the contt with. You can also add a message. c. Click OK. To copy the contt URL, right-click it and select Copy Actions > Copy Public Link. Securely Share Files To securely share contt: Go to the file or folder that you want to share. If the contt has not be shared yet, create a share for it: a. b. In the Create share window, ter the addresses of the people that you want to share the contt with. You can also add a message. c. Unshare Folders Wh you unshare folders, you can choose to either let share members keep the shared contt or delete the shared contt from everyone's desktops. Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Sharing, and th click the Shared Folders tab. Right-click the folder that you have shared, and th select Un-share. Wh prompted, you can either click Delete to delete the contt for all share members or Don't Delete to let share members keep local copies of the contt. Leave Share Groups Wh you leave the share group for a folder, you can choose to either delete or keep local copies of the shared copy. Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Sharing, and th click the Received tab. Right-click the folder that was shared with you, and th select Leave. Wh prompted, you can either click Delete local copy to delete local copies of the folder or Keep local copy to keep local copies of the folder. Accept or Decline Share Invitations Right-click the Barracuda Copy icon on your system tray, and th select Preferces. Click Sharing, and th click the Received tab. Click Get Started to start the migration wizard. Select your currt cloud storage provider, and th click Copy My Files. Allow the migration tool to access the data that you want to migrate. Configure the migration settings, and th click Transfer Now to get started. Read and accept the Transfer Confirmation, and th click Run this transfer now! How to Sign Documts in Copy Using CudaSign Use Barracuda CudaSign to securely sign files in Barracuda Copy. You can sign documts and sd documts for signing from within Copy, and view all of your signed documts in Copy. Step Set Up Auto-Export (Recommded) Use the following steps to set up CudaSign to auto-export all signed documts to Copy: 54
