6 Set-up The LiSIM simulator is available in a choice of three set-up types. You can choose the best way to train your operators, depending on your requirements. Classroom set-up Designed to be easily integrated into existing training centres. Display, seat and controls are mounted on a base and a sturdy display frame. 7 Crane cabin set-up Installed in an original Liebherr crane cabin, this spacesaving solution ensures that the operator becomes familiar with controlling the machine in a real-life environment. Authentic Multifunctional Space-saving 40ft Container set-up The container offers three compartments: the utility room, the simulator area and a classroom. 10 Motion The motion base simulates a realistic feedback, according to current machine movements. The motion base is equipped with either three or six degrees of freedom. In terms of a mechanical body, the number of degrees of freedom is the number of independent movement possibilities.

12 Controls The simulation is based on Liebherr's unique control system with communications protocol. Liebherr supplies the entire set-up of the operator's seat including control levers and control panels as well as keyboard and touchscreen to control the simulations. Construction machinery The Liebherr master control panel allows to operate all simulation scenarios. For an authentic operation of Liebherr crawler cranes (type LR and HS) and rotary drilling rigs (type LB) the construction machinery simulator is equipped with OEM control elements, such as control panel with PLC ("Master") control levers for brake and lifting operation foot pedals for driving and free-fall (dropping) operation of the bucket monitor (touchscreen)

14 Instructor s station

15 An instructor's station is included as a standard for simulator start-up and loading scenarios. It comprises the computer in the rack with two 24" displays, keyboard, mouse and gamepad. The instructor's station allows the instructor to monitor the action performed by the operator, modify simulation parameters and inject faults. The instructor can load any scenario. The instructor's station also allows the instructor to "fly through" the entire simulation environment to view the operation from any position.

Full HD flat screens and surround loudspeakers provide sounds and views typically experienced in the cabin. Each simulator is equipped with a multifunctional instructor's station which has complete control over the simulation.
