Technical/workplacewritingcantakemanyforms,includingletters,memos,reports,proposals,presentations,and manuals.sincetherearesomanyforms,it'snotpossibleforstudentstolearneverythingtheymighteventually needforaworkplaceinthisonecourse.inparticular,thissection scoverageoftechniquesandstylesspecificto Internet basedwork forinstance,settingupwebpages,etc. willbeminimal.studentscan,however,gainan appreciationfor(andrefineskillsneededtodevelop)writingthatisclear,concise,well organized,andhonest andthoseabilitiescanbeusedinmanydifferenttasksandprofessionalsettings.
