2 THE MEETING: MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT THE MEETING: Open a dialogue with market operator in order to ensure the objectives of procurement / identify potential market risks Whom is it directed to? To workers operating in the sector of Building Innovative solutions, who want to get more details about PROBIS and the future tender, and discuss with the local working group. What is the topic? Which areas are involved? Performance requirements expressed in the Prospectus published by the City in April about products / services / existing innovative systems to improve the overall comfort of the municipal building located in via Bologna 74. Lighting technologies ICT Domotics, control systems Climatization Other element of innovation and integration, also procedural one or innovative services related to management.

3 THE MEETING: MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT THE MEETING Consistency with the European tenders The consultation sessions are designed and organized according to the principles of openness, transparency, non - discrimination and equal treatment, in line with European procurement law. Participants and potential contractors will not be required to submit proposals at this early stage. The competitive phase of the public procurement procedure will be conducted separately, through an open public tender. The consultation does not lead to any obligation on the part of the contracting authority involved in the project and any right or privilege for participants During the initial phase, all the necessary guarantees to protect the intellectual property rights of suppliers will be assured and communicated in writing

4 DOCUMENTATION AVAILABLE In April the City of Torino published on TED section the Prior Information Notice (PIN), followed by a descriptive Prospectus, to communicate the intention of launching the tender and to give some technical information and the main goal of the procedure. These documents contain an extract from the report of pre-audits conducted by the Fondazione Torino Smart City Contracting Authority Municipality of Torino Iren SpA Servizi e Innovazione is the contracting on behalf of the Citta di Torino.

6 AS BUILT: BUILDING DATA Location: Torino, Via Bologna 74 Type of building: Office Building used by the Municipal Police Force (approximately three quarters of the building plus 600 staffers entrance: via Bologna 74 The remaining part of the building hosts the seat of the Department Environment (approximately 220 employees) entrance: Via Padova, 29 Number of floors: 9 floors above the ground level, used as offices, a basement with utility rooms and another basement used as technical area and garage. Total gross surface: m2 Total gross volume: m3 Year of construction: Rebuilt in 2004 External structure / Building Envelope: the building is characterized by a structure in reinforced concrete, with intermediate floors in brick and concrete cover. The external windows are made of aluminium frame without thermal break and with double glazing. * * Electrical The City supported an annual cost of: Euro for electricity supply Euro for gas supply. 17 CRITICAL ISSUES High energy consumptions (especially electricity consumption in the summer season) Presence of different building occupants with very different needs Critical thermal and visual conditions in some building areas (mainly those located in the south facade)are perceived The building is equipped with Central Air Conditioning, without climate control zones Spaces used for purposes different from those originally designed (eg. Canteen and dressing rooms of the municipal police) There is a need to manage the building as a whole thus allowing occupants to make some specific energy choices affecting their own comfort and empower them to improve their energy consumption patterns. * For more information see the Prospectus 17
