1 2 Diploma in Business Administration Rationale Aims and Objectives The 2 Diploma in Business Administration is a vocational qualification regulated by Ofqual within the Qualifications and Framework. It focuses on a range of practical skills and underpinning knowledge required in the delivery of Business Administration across a range of vocational areas. The qualification is designed to provide a sound platform onto further learning or training To achieve a 2 Diploma in Business Administration, Learners must complete a minimum of 45 credits - 21 credits from Mandatory Group A, a minimum of 14 credits from Optional Group B, a maximum of 10 credits from Optional Group C and a maximum of 6 credits from Optional Group D. A minimum of 36 credits must be achieved through the completion of units at 2 or above. 4 to provide opportunities for Learners to focus on the development of the major Key Skills and the wider Key Skills in a Business Administration context, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving to provide opportunities for Learners to develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a deliverer of Business Administration Assessment This qualification will be assessed using a variety of assessment methods as set out below. All internal assessments will be undertaken by the Centre Appointed Assessors and Internal Verifiers. Multiple-choice assessments (MCQ) will be set and marked by. All units are graded b. If a Learner is unsuccessful in any area, they will be re-assessed only in the unit where they have not achieved a pass grade c. The remainder of the results will stay in the system until all units have been achieved d. Learners must achieve a pass grade in all assessments to achieve the 2 Diploma in Business Administration (see assessment table above) Recommended Prior It is recommended that prior to commencing the 2 Diploma in Business Administration, Learners will have reached a standard where they have a sufficient level of literacy and numeracy to benefit from and succeed in this qualification
