5 THE BEST TV-FORMAT IN FINLAND 2013 TV-Format 5 seasons in Finland (MTV MAX, SUB, ELISA VOD) 2 seasons in Germany (DMAX) Optioned to Norway, UAE & Qatar Challenge a Formula 1 driver with your own car! Which one is faster? A Formula 1 racing star or a car owner who has tuned his street car to maximum performance? In television format Test Drive by Mika Salo, car enthusiasts have an opportunity to fulfil a dream of their lifetime: Drive a lap on a motor track in a car of their own against a Formula 1 driver. The program series visits car owners in their home garages to see how the cars have been built. On the day of the race, the owner is accompanied by a friend to give support and advice for the big event. The lap time and top speed are recorded during the race. At the end of each episode, the car is given points for driveability and appearance, and points are also given to the owner on the basis of driving skills and attitude. At the end of the season, the test driver selects his favourite, the Tuner of the Year! Watch the full episode: password: testdrive TEST DRIVE THROUGH THE EYES OF BROADCASTER After the 4th season of Test Drive with Mika Salo, it was clear to us that the show had established its place in the hearts of Finnish car enthusiasts. Like previous seasons, it did very well not only in MTV MAX but also with Sub. Also Mika Salo took bigger role in MTV s Formula 1 team and kept the show on peoples mind. When local Telco Elisa showed their interest to the show, it was a no-brainer to us to acquire on more season of the show. This kind of business model was new ground for us and Test Drive seemed like a good show to try it with. The 5th season of the Test Drive is about to start this April on MTV MAX. 6 CELEBRITIES, START YOUR ENGINES! TV-Format Genre: Reality 10 x 42 min Two rappers, two politicians, two reality TV babes... Which one is faster on the race track with the help of legendary drivers? In the series Celebrities start your engines!, celebrities from various backgrounds are taken to a racing track to compete against each other, with two legendary motor racing stars as their coaches. At the beginning of an episode, two celebrities from the same genre arrive at the racing track, and talk about their experiences with cars and driving. Then, the coaches will draw lots on which coach will be coaching which celebrity. First, both celebrities will drive a timed lap without coaching. Then, the coaches will have an hour to teach their proteges, by taking the star on a ride, or being a co-driver for the star. After the coaching session, things get serious, when one star drives a timed lap against another star. The winner is the star who drove the faster lap, and of course, their coach. TEAM FINAL During the team finals the two best stars from both teams will be competing. These episodes will have the competitors racing on the same track, facing each other, which will give a completely new dimension to the competition. The winners of the team finals will continue towards the final, together with their coaches. FINAL In the last episode, one team will be the winner. This episode will have a doubles race, where the teams consist of the coach and the star. The winners of the final are the winners of the entire season.

7 FOODIE GUEST - Cultures and food uncensored TV-Format Genre: Factual lifestyle 10 x 24 min Food and cultures meet. Both the host and the viewers will lose their preconceptions amid the cooking, done right in the kitchen of an immigrant family. In this multicultural show our frank host cook with an attitude will visit ten immigrant families. We will get to know the life and culture of the family through food. In addition to the intro, the episode is divided into three main sections: 1. THE KITCHEN The show starts in the family kitchen, where we first meet just one or both of the parents. The first subject is the meal that will be prepared in the episode. The meal is always centred on the ethnic background of each family and can be anything from enchiladas to bouillabaisse or couscous. Food provides an in to culture, ways and differences. No subject is avoided in the show: religion, racism, politics, etc. are all discussed if the subject comes up. 2. THE FAMILY As the discussion goes on, the other members of the family arrive. They can take part in the cooking and the discussion as the situation allows. The host can also leave the kitchen with one family member, allowing the discussion to move onto other subjects and also so we can meet the other members of the family we haven t met, such as grandparents, siblings and pets. 3. AT THE TABLE Once the meal is finished our host joins the family at the table. The foods are tasted carefully, they are introduced and their history explained. The best parts of the dinner discussion will end up on the show.

8 STREET FOOD REVOLUTION - Street food competition TV-Format Genre: Reality 10 x 42 min Street Food Revolution means the best of street kitchens right from construction containers! The teams will compete for customers using the best street food concepts, food and marketing. Street Food Revolution challenges professional and amateur cooks to use their vision to take street food to a whole new level. In addition to cooking skills and creativity, the contest measures the participants ability to use the resources and raw materials they will be given. The measure of success will be customer feedback and sales profits. In the show, four player teams put up a pop up restaurant for a day and compete on which of the teams can create the most alluring restaurant with the best food and atmosphere. The container kitchens created just for the show add their own spice to the mix. Made out of shipping containers, these kitchens open from the side, can be moved around and include all the utensils the competitors will need. The competitors will have to manage creating their image, marketing their restaurant and luring customers on their own. Depending on the location, the methods can be anything under the heavens, from tastings to special offers and other additional activities. The competition doesn t just measure cooking ability and skills in managing a restaurant, but also inventiveness in marketing and the quality and reliability of customer service.

9 DOULAS TV-Format Genre: Factual 10 x 24 min Doulas are women who act as support persons during child birth. We see how doulas guide a family or a lone mother through a great challenge to the reward of a tiny new life. The goal of a doula is to support the mother and father to be as they prepare for the new family member to arrive. A pregnant woman can ask for a doula to help her for many reasons. A doula could be needed by an immigrant woman, who has no one to support her in her new homeland that she has reached through hardship and having for instance gotten pregnant because of rape. Doulas also support perfectly ordinary families who want someone to be there for them in addition to the regular preparations. A doula is part of the family s life before birth, during it and also when the family is taking the first steps with the new born. The cultural background of the families can vary widely, which adds its own challenge to the doula s work. A doula must adjust to different kinds of religions, ways and attitudes. The show follows a group of doulas in their work. In each episode we follow 2-3 doulas and anticipate with them when the customer family will have their big moment. Many situations can be mentally tough for the doulas themselves. We see their meetings where experiences and feelings are shared. The show is about doulas, families, cultures and the most important moments of life.

Is the blogger even real? These are the questions we answer in Behind the Blogger. Blogs are here to stay. They are a big part of the daily surfing routine of particularly women in their 20s and 30s. The numbers of daily readers for the largest fashion and lifestyle blogs are up in the hundreds of thousands, even millions, and companies compete for partner contracts with the most popular bloggers. But are bloggers quite how they seem from the outside? Perfect, always cheerful. Blogs are mostly written by completely ordinary people, whose life seems a lot more glamorous than the everyday drudge from the outside. For the writers, a blog is a place to create a certain kind of image of their life for their readers. A blog is an illusion of a sort. In the show we meet the people behind the blogs. Does the person really match the image their blog has created of them? We follow four bloggers through their everyday life and the hurricane of the blog world. We see partner meetings, show room visits, paid trips and other twists and turns that show the challenges of a bloggers life and of being a celebrity. We also see the moments when the fountains of creativity run dry, there s nothing to write about and the blog is stuck.

11 STREET STYLE TV-Format Genre: Lifestyle 10 x 24 min Street fashion is an important part of the culture and identity of any city. Street Style will take you on a tour of the street fashion of great cities while one person will get the styling trip of a life time. Street fashion is an important part of the culture and identity of any city. Street styles are often described in fashion blogs and fashion magazines. There are even online services that are based specifically on street fashion and follow what s the hottest hot in Stockholm, say, or in Barcelona. The styles and fashion choices of people plucked right of the street are interesting, because anyone can copy them. Street style is used for inspiration and to add something new to your own style. In addition to fashion blogs, street style pages also have a strong influence on the course of fashion, more than traditional designer fashion and fashion shows. A new program concentrating on fashion and travel will take you on a fashion trip to places like Barcelona, Milan, Amsterdam and Paris. Along for the ride you ll have a professional fashion photographer and a top stylist, who put their heads together to find a person looking for a makeover - a new style from the streets of a major city. At the same time the program will introduce the cities and their shopping opportunities a little. They only have one day and a budget of 150e. Once they ve found the style, the changer will be fully styled, including hair and makeup, and real fashion photographs are taken in the beautiful city.

Design Camp is about co-operation between companies and top designers. The TV-format has already given birth to internationally successful design products and industry. In every episode two designer teams has one week to design a new product for each participating company.
