1 ShoreTel Quote Management System (QMS) Implementation Services (IS) Calculator Enhancements 12/09/2010 There have been a number of enhancements made to the QMS IS Calculator which this document will denote and describe. The following is a summary list of the key changes: 1. New Statement of Work (SOW) information and partner acknowledgement section. 2. Updates to the product SKU inclusions that contribute to the automatic population of the IS calc question form. Examples include MCM, Power Injectors (PoE), SIP, SG 24A, T1/E1/PRI/BRI digital trunking, etc. 3. IS Calc Question form layout changes. These enhancements were made to help provide single view of each question section without having to scroll through the list of questions for easy access and management. 4. Update of IS Calc Statement of Work matrix. These are the notes that denote what numbers and selections were entered during the IS calculator process. This is the line item in the quote that is denoted with SKU = PS Implementation Services Calculator Notes. Access to these notes is via the new Edit pencil icon.

2 Table 1. The following descriptions and screen prints use an example that was generated from the following list of productions from a quote being pulled into the IS Calculator. Note that access to the IS Calculator has NOT changed, and is accessed via the Add button that will become visible if any switch or phone hardware parts are added to the line item section of the QMS quote. When digital trunk capacity is reached, IP phone capacity is still 100. Requires one Tray (SKU 10223) for every two units. ShoreGear 220E1-1U half width, Max Capacities - 1 E1, 220 IP phones, 0 analog exts, 0 LS trunks, 0 universal ports. When digital trunk capacity is reached, IP phone capacity is still 70. Requires one Tray (SKU 10223) for every two units. ShoreGear 30BRI - 1U half width, Max Capacities - 30 IP phones, 2 Analog exts, 1 BRI trunk (2 channels). Not all maximum capacities can be reached at the same time. Requires one Tray (SKU 10223) for every two units. 3 1. Statement of Work (SOW) information and partner acknowledgement: The below is a screen print of the new information and SOW assumption acknowledgement section. To view the assumptions and conditions, select the help icon (?) to the left of the acknowledgement line. The recommended products will ONLY be displayed/listed if the user answers (selects) Yes to the SOW acknowledgement statement.

4 By selecting the help (?) icon, the following window will open:

5 The following screen print shows that there are NO recommended parts since the acknowledgement has NOT been selected to Yes. Once selected to Yes, the calculator will automatically update and the recommended products will be presented based on the answers to the questions.

Examples include MCM, Power Injectors (PoE), SIP, SG 24A, T1/E1/PRI/BRI digital trunking, etc. Referring to Table 1 above with the example parts and quantities, the following is an example of the expected IS Calculator results based on that list of products:

Update of IS Calc Statement of Work matrix. These are the notes that denote what numbers and selections were entered during the IS calculator process. This is the line item in the quote that is denoted with SKU = PS Implementation Services Calculator Notes. Access to these notes is via the new Edit pencil icon. The result of clicking on the edit icon noted above will open up the following matrix that denotes the values used to calculate Implementation Services for this deal as shown below.
