- By 1982, my last year as athletic director at Flagler, the whole athletic program and physical education curriculum had been elevated to a new high. Many of the achievements still stand uncontested today. - Men s Basketball Winning seasons 1979, 1980, 1981 and 1982. Elevated Men s Baseball schedule from a 2 year competition to cross-section of Division I and II NCAA & NAIA schools. - Qualified for District Play-offs in 1982 1 st time since joining the NAIA in 1979 they qualified. - Elevated Men s Baseball schedule from 10 games a season to 50 against major college competition including Florida State University, Jacksonville University and the University of Florida. Winning seasons 1980, 1981 and 1982. Flagler beat FSU in 1982. - Men's Tennis won NAIA Division I Championship 1978,1980 and 1981. Finished in top five nationally for four years in a row. - Men's Soccer Winning season in 1982. - Men's Cross-Country Winning season in 1982. - Women's Tennis won State Championship in 1981 and 1982. - Women's Basketball won State Championship in 1981 and 1982. Initiated Recreation Major and Coaching Minor.
