Meet the team at the Priory Hospital Glasgow In addition to the consultant psychiatrists who work at the Priory Hospital Glasgow and the Edinburgh and Aberdeen Clinics, there is a management team and a host of individuals who support our patients clinically. These are just some of the individuals you might expect to meet in the hospital or the clinics. Management Graeme Weymes Hospital Director Graeme joined the Priory Group in 2012 following a lengthy career in corporate healthcare. He worked for many years with US owned medical device manufacturers and distributors; Sherwood Medical, Hospital Management and Supplies and Baxter Healthcare. He followed this into employee provider services within healthcare, with several years in senior management at BUPA. Before joining the Priory Group, Graeme worked with leading US HR outsourcing company Ceridian, latterly as the Director of its Employee Assistance Programme division, providing clinical counselling services to corporate employees globally. David Grierson Clinical Services Manager David Grierson BSc (Hons) Healthcare, Dip N, RMN is the Clinical Services Manager at the Priory Hospital Glasgow. He qualified as a registered mental health nurse in 1987 and has had a 20 year career with the Priory holding a variety of senior positions. After six years in a general management role as the Hospital Director, David decided to focus more on developing services to ensure that every patient experiences a first class quality healthcare service, which is safe and has effective treatment outcomes. David has responsibility for managing nursing and related medical services, housekeeping, catering, maintenance, human relations and learning. He is the lead for driving quality systems through clinical governance, coordinates health and safety and is the dedicated Adult and Child Safeguarding Officer. Scotland s Chief Inspector of Health Improvement Scotland commended the service in December 2012 as very good for quality and care with no requirements.
