About SRT SRT has a complete range of technologies, products and systems customisable for all applications and markets 3 International Certification From smallest fishing vessel to largest tanker or Navy boat Proven reliability and performance future proof technology & products Fully customisable for individual customer and application requirements

References 40 Active national projects up to 2 million vessels, 1,000 s of ports, millions of sq km of maritime EEZ 40,000 FISHING BOATS As from 31 st May 2014 all EU commercial fishing boats legally required to install a certified AIS Class A transceiver. 27,000 COMMERCIAL BOATS As from Jan 2015, USCG rules require certain types of commercial boats to fit an AIS Class A or Class B transceiver., 200,000 FISHING BOATS India is implementing an AIS based tracking and monitoring system for all fishing boats every fishermen to be given an AIS Identifier. 13,000 FISHING BOATS Oman is implementing a national boat license and tracking policy. Approx 13,000 boats to be fitted with an AIS Identifier in 2015. 130,000 BOATS Please Note: Due to the confidential nature of many projects, only limited information about any project can be revealed. The above information is all publically available and not subject to any confidentiality restrictions. No further information will be provided by SRT. Joint USA and Mexico Government program to fit all motorised boats with an AIS Identifier 19,000 fitted, balance in 2015. 4

What is Maritime Domain Management MDM CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF YOUR MARITIME DOMAIN Vessel tracking Environmental monitoring Security Safety Eco-sustainability Large Ships Coast Guard Leisure Large Fishing Small Fishing 5

Key functionality of the SRT MDM system MULTIPLE BENEFITS FOR ALL MARINE STAKE HOLDERS Vessel Tracking reliably track all vessels operating in your ports, waterways and EEZ Prevent illegal fishing implement robust sustainable fishery licensing, policies and control at national and local levels Enhance Maritime Security automatically and efficiently identify, manage and control potential threats Improve safety improve safety for mariners and reduce search and rescue times and costs 6

Why Automatic Identification System (AIS) The only data communications technology created specifically for maritime domain awareness, endorsed and supported by the IMO. AIS is proven and adopted across the world in multiple maritime applications. AIS is a dynamic self managing technology well suited to national scale systems with multiple stakeholder requirements. AIS is an evolving, future proof maritime optimised system technology 7

Why Automatic Identification System (AIS) ALFRED SCHUMM WWF Director We want to create transparency and understanding and show that the fisheries management, monitoring and control measures are essential to make fishing sustainable. Governments over the world should make AIS installation mandatory for every commercial fishing vessel to increase safety and transparency The only data communications technology created specifically for maritime domain awareness. AIS is proven and adopted across the world in multiple maritime applications. AIS is a TDMA based radio system which ensures optimal reliability, integrity and dynamic airwave management in all applications. AIS is an evolving, future proof maritime optimised system technology 8

Track all vessel types Vessel Transceivers Vessel transceivers continuously transmit accurate identity and activity information on all vessel types operating across entire EEZ Robust real time AIS transceivers for all vessel types and sizes. Fully customisable with multiple functional, security, anti-spoofing and antitamper features. Unique safety alert system. Fully interoperable. 11

Enhanced system data Infrastructure Transceivers Infrastructure AtoN transceivers continuously transmit live environment data and hazards to maritime traffic AIS transceivers designed for permanent, autonomous deployment on buoys and remote locations to transmit live environmental data such as weather, sea state, tide, currents and system status reports. 12

Powerful data acquisition network Data Acquisition Network Coast stations strategically located along the coast line receive transmissions in real time. Coverage gaps are filled in by satellite. Transmissions from transceivers are continuously received in real time by terrestrial Coast Stations and AIS satellites to provide reliable and complete EEZ coverage and beyond. 13

Dynamic display and management Data Management System Sophisticated GeoVS data management, viewing and analysis system Sophisticated GeoVS network, data management and display system enables data to be harnessed by multiple agencies to achieve their own objectives now and in the future. 14

Dynamic display and management Data Management System Sophisticated GeoVS system displays your entire maritime domain in real time. Full vessel details fused with detailed chart and other environmental data, coupled with sophisticated analysis and management tools to give complete MDM control and flexibility. 15
