Salesforce Installation and Customization Guide for Professional Edition Users Note: You must have an active Response Wise account. The Response Wise Salesforce App will not work with trial accounts. Please go here to sign up: Response Wise Sign Up Welcome to Response Wise for Salesforce! Installation is easy; this guide will walk you through a few simple steps to install our application. We provide self-service email, social media and survey solutions for Salesforce clients. Build mailing lists and send emails or invitations to Leads and Contacts & track the post-launch reporting within your Salesforce account. How to use this guide: Simply follow the installation and customization steps to create your new account.
1. Visit the App Exchange and STEP 1. Visit the Salesforce App Exchange and search Response Wise or simply go directly to the Response Wise App Exchange page here: RESPONSE WISE LISTING ON THE SALESFORCE APP EXCHANGE. STEP 2. Login to Salesforce as user or guest. STEP 3. Select if you would like to install the app in your Production (including Developer Edition) or if applicable, into your Sandbox. Once you ve read through the Salesforce Terms of Service, click on Continue.
STEP 4. Confirm Installation.
2. Review Package Components, Set Permissions and Install Step 1: Review packages details and authorize security levels for AS3. Step 2: Set Permission Levels.
Step 3: Install Package. 3. Complete Installation and Expose Custom Objects Step 1: Use Response Wise login to sign in as well as login credentials for Salesforce. You will also need to add your Salesforce token. Then select Login and Configure. Note: To reset your security token: 1. At the top of any Salesforce page, click the down arrow next to your name. From the menu under your name, select Setup or My Settings whichever one appears. 2. From the left pane, select one of the following: If you clicked Setup, select My Personal Information Reset My Security Token. If you clicked My Settings, select Personal Reset My Security Token. Click the Reset Security Token button. The new security token is sent via email to the email address on your Salesforce user record. If you have never been offered a security token, for example, because your organization restricts the IP addresses from which you can log in, the Reset My Security Token node does not appear in your personal settings
Step 2: Edit your mappings for Leads and Contacts. You may add as many custom fields within Response Wise to map back to Salesforce.
Step 3: Display Custom Objects 1) Go to Setup > Campaigns > Page Layouts 2) Under Campaign Layout Select > Buttons > Then Select the Manage Response Wise and drag and drop the Manage Response Wise button to the Campaign Detail section next to Advanced Setup
4: Add Response Wise Contact, Lead and Campaign History to your page layout. STEP 1: Campaign Layout History 1) Under the Edit Campaign layout (same area as the Button ), select Related Lists. 2) Select the Response Wise Statistics related list and add that to your page layout.
3) Edit the Response Wise Statistics Related Lists and add Statistics 4) Under Page Layout go to Fields and add the following fields: Contact List ID, Email Subject and Campaign ID, Linked.
5) Save your Page Layout and Overwrite Users Related Lists Customizations
STEP 2: Enable Reporting for Campaigns Members and Leads 1) Go to Campaign Members > Page Layout > Fields and add the following fields to Campaign Member Detail: Linked, Subscriber ID, Transmits and then save the page layout. 2) Go to Leads > Page Layout and add the following Related Lists: Response Wise Emails. Then edit Response Wise Emails and add the following Fields: Clicked, Opened, Sent, Unsubscribed and Bounced. Save Page Layout and then Overwrite Users Related List Customizations. 3) Go to Contacts > Page Layout and add the following Related Lists: Response Wise Emails. Then edit Response Wise Emails and add the following Fields: Clicked, Opened, Sent, Unsubscribed and Bounced. Save Page Layout and then Overwrite Users Related List Customizations.
5. You are done! Go Create Your First Campaign!
