The church will nt cancel any majr events (weddings, cnferences, wrkshps, etc.) t accmmdate a funeral service. Weekdays are very flexible with the exceptin f Wednesday evenings and Friday afternns. Viewings/Visitatins the day r night prir t a funeral service will be scheduled at the church ONLY if the funeral hme cannt accmmdate the number f attendants. Please ntify yur flrist t make all deliveries 2-3 hurs prir t a funeral/memrial service in ur Champin Frest Chapel. Please be advised that CFBC is unable t stre flral arrangements vernight. The Pastral Care Office will assist the family in planning the funeral and the layut f the prgram. CFBC is happy t prvide a cmfrtable space (80-100 max) fr a lunchen/receptin fr yur family and special guests fllwing a funeral/memrial/graveside service. Hwever shuld this ccur, the Pastral Care Ministry will prvide a CFBC pastr wh will help make yur lved ne s funeral meaningful and special. 3. Can a pastr frm anther church and/r denminatin fficiate my lved ne s funeral? All licensed pastrs (apart frm CFBC rdained ministers), regardless f denminatin, must be apprved by Pastr Luis Miri, Pastr f Pastral Care. CFBC des nt prvide a videgrapher fr funeral/memrial services, but we d prvide an audi recrding f the service per yur request. Yu are welcme t have yur wn videgrapher in place t vide the service s that family/guests are able t view the service if they are nt able t attend. Please infrm the Pastral Care Office and they will let yu knw the ideal lcatin fr a vide camera that wuld nt distract frm the service. 8. Des CFBC prvide fd fr the receptin? CFBC des nt prvide fd fr the receptin. The church prvides cffee, tea, and chilled water per yur request. We are als happy t make sure bth serving tables and dining tables with chairs are set up prir t the lunchen/receptin. Our Funeral Crdinatr and Hstesses will als be present t receive caterers, fd frm Life Grup and/r family members and friends.
