WHO WE ARE ROMANIAN PETROLEUM SERVICES ASSOCIATION (RPSA) is an association which consists of nine Romanian companies, with a total annual turnover of 150.000.000 Euro, operating under the patronage of the Employers Organization of Romanian Oil Industry. This is an institution which brings together well experienced companies with a wide range of activities, suppliers of both products and services from the petroleum industry. The Association was established with the main objective to carry out projects in various areas: Design (Basic Design, Extended BD), Engineering (Multidisciplinary Detailed Engineering), Procurement, Construction, Manufacturing, Assembly, Transportation, Consultancy and Diagnosis, Technical assistance for construction, commissioning and start-up, Project Management for modernization. The main strategy for the Association is to participate in tenders for the delivery of products and services in fields such as: Petroleum Refineries, oil transportation, storage; Petrochemical and Chemical, Gas Processing / Treating; Environmental; Crude Oil / Product Storage; Energy and Power; Pipelines; Chemical Equipment; Offsite Facilities and Utilities Production Plants; Petroleum and natural gas pipelines and associated facilities; Industrial waste water treatment; Environmental, safety and ecological studies and engineering; Biodiesel; Civil/Industrial construction, Infrastructures. MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION 1. IPIP S.A. (www.ipip.ro) - LEADER of the Association IPIP- the Engineering and Design Institute for Oil Refineries and Petrochemical Plants is a Romanian company with a large range of capabilities and experience in the development of the petroleum, hydrocarbon processing and petrochemical industries, as well as their related fields. IPIP has performed the complete engineering and design for the achievement and implementation of the new Romanian refineries and for the revamping and extension of the existent ones. Thus, IPIP has fully designed the 11 oil refineries of Romania, totaling a processing capacity of about 40,000,000 Mt/y, and a great number of objectives abroad, spread worldwide and comprising, mainly, oil refineries, lube oil / gas processing complexes, oil terminal and other associated facilities. Relevant projects in Romania are listed as follows : Petrom, Petrobrazi Refinery (member of OMV Group), Petrotel Lukoil Refinery, Rompetrol Petromidia Refinery (Kasmunai Group), Petrom OMV (Contractor: Man Ferrostal Germany), Arpechim Refinery. Some of the relevant projects achieved abroad are in : Iraq (Kurdistan Refinery), Syria, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kuwait, Albania, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, Turkmenistan. Page 3
2. CONFIND S.R.L (www.confind.ro) In more than 20 years of experience, the company covered numerous stages of development, reached from the simple production of spare parts for different equipment and installations to the manufacturing of products and equipment of great complexity. We produce drilling & production tools, container(caravans) portable cabins, transportable gas stations, progressive cavity pumps, reservoirs and vessels according with API standard, thermo units rubber parts for oil and gas industry, tanks and steel structures for the building industry, forge. Also, CONFIND started in 2000, the production of gearboxes and spare parts for manual valve actuation, these products being entirely devoted to the foreign market. Representatives projects are: Petrom, Distrigaz, Romgaz, National Defence Mnistry, PCC-Sterom, KBR (USA), Dyncorp (USA), Danieli (Italy), Claudius Peters (Germany), Ascom Kurdistan Refinery. Page 4

INDUSTRIAL MONTAJ S.A (www.industrial-montaj.ro) The company's dynamics are reflected by a good communication and work efficiency, supported by permanent updating of the core-competences within the petro-chemistry (refining),chemical and energetic, civil construction and the food industry. With an experience of 16 years in the erection of the metalic construction-assembly field, the company aims to maintain its leading position, well acknowledged in the field of construction-assembly. 4. SYSCOM - 18 S.R.L. (www.syscom.ro) Established in 1991, SYSCOM 18 is a company with solely Romanian investment specialized in the field of industrial automation equipment and measuring systems. 'Key services' supplier, SYSCOM 18 has over 500 clients in Romania, Middle East and Central Asia. Most of the orders have been placed for the petroleum and natural gases industry as well as for cement, ceramics, medicine, metallurgy, etc. Among the most important clients over the years can be mentioned: Petrom, Romgaz, Transgaz, Rafo, Mittal Sidex, Inspet, Condmag, Armax, Confind, Arpechim, Petrobrazi, Rominserv, ANRS. Starting with the year 2000, SYSCOM 18 performed activities abroad in the following countries Syria, Kazahstan, Iran, Lybia, Jordan, Bulgary and Hungary. We are ready to perform at a high quality all the activities from the technical evaluation of the automation system, performing the design and its installation and commissioning. Page 6
5. S.C. COMPANIA ENERGOPETROL S.A. (www.energo.ro) The Corporation "Compania Energopetrol" wishes to maintain its image and reputation which were gained on the actual challenging market of Romania, as a supplier of quality services/ products in the field of designing and performing of works of civil engineering and mounting concerning: electric energy systems up to and including 110 kv; drives and power lighting systems, automation systems and installations for anticorrosive protection, designing and performing the installations belonging to the electrical part of plants. 6. PETROLEUM GAS UNIVERSITY (www.upg-ploiesti.ro) Petroleum-Gas University of Ploieşti was founded in Bucharest in 1948, under the name of Petroleum and Gas Institute. The Institute had, as a main aim, to train the engineers required by the petroleum and gas industry in Romania. The foundation of this institution was mainly based on the history, the tradition and the technical and scientific level of several accomplishments acquired by the petroleum and gas industry in our country. In 1992, the Petroleum and Gas Institute of Ploieşti became the University of Ploieşti, as new faculties and sections in the fields of economic studies and humanities were set up. For a better definition of tradition and structure, in 1993 the University of Ploieşti changed its name into the Petroleum-Gas University (PGU) of Ploieşti. The present academic structure of the Petroleum-Gas University includes five faculties:the Faculty of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, The Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, The Faculty of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry,The Faculty of Economic Sciences, The Faculty of Letters and Sciences. 8. COMES S.A. (www.comes.ro) COMES SA Savinesti is part of industrial group of companies CONEX IASI, one of the most dynamic industrial groups from Romania. COMES SA is one of the leading Romanian manufactures of pressure vessels and equipments. With a tradition of over 35 years, the company is mainly focused on petrochemical and crude oil refining fields, as well to nuclear industry. The products specific to the company are: heat exchangers, tube bundles, air coolers with fin tubes, columns with internals equipments (trays), industrial boilers with steam/hot water, reactors, condensers, vessels, reservoirs, tanks, complex metallic structures. 9. OIL TERMINAL S.A. (www.oil-terminal.com) OIL TERMINAL S.A Constanta is one of the greatest petroleum terminals in south-east Europe, settled in 1898. The company has a strategical location in the Black Sea area, being the largest operator on sea, specialized in crude oil, petroleum and liquid chemical products, other products and raw materials handling for import/export and transit Advantages that give the location and strategic position are: terminal on the Black Sea; access to road and rail transport links; existence of three large warehouses equipped with tanks in which petroleum products are circulated with a total capacity of 1.7 million cubic meters of storage; capacity loading of petroleum products and chemicals in landfills FF having a total length of 30 km; pipelines for unloading petroleum products and chemicals.
