TRUCK The modern combined sewer cleaning truck for narrow streets and lanes The German company SMETS-Technology GmbH, together with an Austrian partner, builds and delivers this combined sewer cleaning truck COMBI. 7 SW. As an option, the system can be delivered with a simple and effective winter heating system, which allows working up to an ambient temperature of up to - 20 C ( - 4 F ). With a special switch valve the exhaust gases of the vehicle are guided in the heating system through an installed heat exchanger in the water compartment. The warmed-up water is circulated through the whole system ( pump, hoses, valves, etc. ) by means of a small 24 V pump. All essential components are hydraulically driven. The required power is taken by two power take-offs ( PTO ), both built onto the truck s gear. A powerful high pressure pump combined with a strong vacuum pump guarantees a professional operation.

TRUCK PAGE 04 ENGLISH STATUS A central control board is installed directly at the big swivel hose reel with the following functions: ENGINE START / STOP RPM ENGINE + / - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP VACUUM PUMP VACUUM SYSTEM WORKING LIGHT ON / OFF ON / OFF VACUUM / BLOWING removable halogen working light with 10 m cable 4 This unique superstructure has been developed to meet the requirements of a lot of customers. The compact truck can be used in narrow areas. All components are hydraulically driven ( NO v-belts on the superstructure ) as the vacuum pump, high pressure pump, tipping device and opening device for the back door. The system is designed to be operated by just one employee / driver. The strong vacuum pump ( 1,250 m³/h) generates a permanent vacuum to the suction hose. A special design of the lower suction connection at the back door ( gooseneck ) allows draining the water from the sludge tank back to the sewer. This facilitates a longer operation as long as there is enough water in the water compartment. 5
